    • 6 Reasons Why Prince William Will Be a Great Dad

      By Kylie McConville for TheBump.com

Shutterstock / The BumpShutterstock / The BumpThough Duchess Kate is only in the "very early stages" of her very royal pregnancy, we're already going gaga over what Prince William will be like as a doting dad. From reading bedtime stories together to royal piggyback rides, we've outlined the top six reasons why Prince William will be the most incredible royal dad ever!

      1. He already plans to be a "hands-on" dad.
Just when we thought we couldn't swoon for Prince Will any harder, it's been said that the Duke of Cambridge wants to be present in every aspect of his new baby's life -- just like his mom.

      2. He's ready to trade in his Royal Air Force duties.
When that little bundle makes its way into this world, the duke will probably make a permanent move to be closer to home and his family. Any dad who's willing to change up his work routine to be closer to his child gets an A+ in our book!

Name predictions for the royal baby

      3. We heard he wants to change "nappies."

    • A Survival Guide for Traveling with Kids

      By Lori Richmond for TheBump.com

Photo: Matthew Richmond / The BumpPhoto: Matthew Richmond / The BumpHoliday travel is stressful enough -- but toss babies and kids into the mix? Now you've got the potential for a mind-numbing, stress-inducing, blood-pressure-raising disaster. Having just completed an eight-hour train ride with two kids, one husband, a stroller, a car seat, two suitcases, and backpacks and various other accoutrements in tow, I came up with a few ways to help holiday-haggard moms like me stay moderately sane during the craziest travel time of the year. (Speaking of crazy, those are my kids in the photo, about six hours into the ride.)

Your ability to entertain is the key to your survival
Surprise your child on departure day with some brand-new books and small toys. This is much more effective than bringing along the toys they're used to playing with every day. Anything that your kid hasn't seen before is guaranteed to buy you at least an extra five -- or even 10 -- minutes of entertainment! Distribute these goodies wisely throughout

    • How My Kids Starting School Has Made My Life (Even More) Insane

      By Lori Richmond for TheBump.com

This year marked the start of preschool for my younger son, Holden, for three mornings a week. My older son, Cooper, started kindergarten this year, but at a different school. I had absolutely no idea how much these heart-melting milestones would turn our day-to-day life management completely upside down and require triple the Mom Memory Capacity. Now, along with my own schedule (the vast majority of which is work-related because, really, who has time for anything else?!), I need to painstakingly keep track of the never-ending list of requests, responsibilities and volunteer opportunities from two different schools -- and attempt not to screw it all up.

Wacky parenting methods that actually work!

This week, I almost did just that, by nearly forgetting about Holden's first parent-teacher conference. I jokingly blame it on the fact that he's the second child, but there actually is some truth to that. It's not that he's any less important, of

The real cause of most toddler meltdowns.

Picking up my three-year-old daughter, Lovie, from school at 3:30 p.m., like I do every day, I peeked into the window of her room and saw her sitting right in front of her teacher, who read from a book. One of her classmates saw me and feverishly started pointing in my direction while nudging Lovie. She followed the classmate's pointed finger, saw me standing there like a goofy madwoman waving and smiling, and frowned. I should've known then that the drive home would be hell-like.

The biggest toddler problems -- solved!

After we pulled out of the school's parking lot, Lovie asked for some water, so I gave her a bottle of water that had been sitting in my cup holder. "It's broke, Mama," she said.

"Well, we'll have to get a new one," I stupidly said.

So that's what she wanted: a new bottle of water. Right at that moment.

She proceeded to scream and cry while kicking the back of the passenger seat during the

The new dilemmas of child care during the digital age.

      By Cynthia Ramnarace for TheBump.com

You've hired someone to take care of your baby. You've given them unfettered access to your home and your life. They know more about your daily habits than even your own mother does. But do you know how much of that information they're keeping to themselves and how much they're sharing with their online friends and followers? Here's a sampling of real tweets posted by nannies on Twitter:

"Being a nanny sucks the life out of me… Twin babies and 3-year-old boy for 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m."

And now the world knows exactly when that mom leaves for work and when she comes home.

"The little boy I babysit is having laser quest set up at his house for his 10th birthday."

And anyone who cares to look now knows how old the boy is and that his family has the coin to throw a pretty elaborate celebration.

Are you sharing too much about baby online?

Or what about the "Cutest kids ever!" tweet that linked

    • 4 Ways to Get Out the Door Faster in the Morning

Yes, working mama, you can streamline your a.m. routine.

By: Sarah @ When Regarding Ruffles for TheBump.com

I'm still pretty new at this whole mom thing, but one thing that I've learned so far is that mornings will forever be a bit more chaotic. If I thought that getting to work on time was challenging before our baby was born, then this is a whole new hurdle to jump over. I have a natural obsession to anally organize everything and anything down to the littlest detail, so you can only imagine how I approached our "new" morning routine with baby. Here are some of the new "rules" that our morning routine now includes to help us keep our sanity (which is super important to have, don't you agree?).

      Limit time-consuming tasks.

As crazy as it sounds, I've tried to eliminate anything that takes time in the morning. If I'm going to shower, it needs to happen the night before. My outfit and lunch for the next day need to be ready to go before I hit
