    • Date Idea: Warm Up by Exercising This Winter

With colder weather ahead and beach season behind us, it's hard to remain motivated at the gym. In order for you and your honey to stay fit, working out together is key. Experts say that having a work out partner can help improve your results. Better yet, having a set day and time to exercise helps too.

Whether you're on an indoor track or embracing the crisp air by fast walking outside, get your cardio in by doing it together. Exercising with your significant other allows you to spend quality time doing something healthy, even among all of the holiday madness. You can begin by strolling along while chatting, then increase your speed by competing with one another during a run.

Another idea is to test your flexibility at a Bikram Yoga class - 2 sets of 26 poses done for 90 minutes in a room heated to 105 degrees. The warmth will help with flexibility, and winter is the best time to start. Staying in the room, known as the "torture chamber," is a challenge in itself,

This weekend, embrace the dropping temperatures and head to an outdoor ice skating rink to be romantic with your sweetheart.

You don't have to be an Olympic skater to enjoy a day on the ice, and it may work to your benefit if you need some help. Either take lessons with your partner or use your inexperience as an excuse to hold your date's hand for support as you glide across the floor. No need to be embarrassed if you or your mate takes a fall. After all, experiences like that make for great laughs.

Maybe you and your significant other have taken in all that your town has to offer and you're ready for a change of scenery. With the turning of the leaves, there's no better time than the fall to get in the car and head out on the open highway. Road trips add a little adventure and significant quality time together, two key ingredients for keeping a relationship alive.

If you're looking to escape the cold November weather, drive South to a warmer state for some fun in the sun. If you're the more adventurous type, embrace the chilly season and set your sights North for winter sports. Or, you can travel to the nearest mountain and go for a romantic hike. Camping together is another idea that will be sure to keep you snuggling all night. For those couples who would like to hit as many destinations as possible, you can fuse romance and adventure with a weekend cruise.

No matter where you decide to go, if you plan on being in the car for a while, find ways

We know celebrities love to shop, but celebrity couples who do it together are super cute! There's something about a guy holding a women's department store bag that makes us melt. In the real world, hitting the mall with your sweetheart can mean total boredom for him and a headache for you. Maybe these celeb duos aren't captured on camera arguing because they don't have to look at price tags. Whatever the reason, below are five of Hollywood's most well-known fashion-seeking duos we can't help but admire:

      1. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale: This married couple are always photographed and filmed with two things: their children and their shopping bags. Girl's Outfit
For this typical first date scenario, keep it classy-casual. Leave the heels at home since you're headed to the movies and add the sexiness in other ways - a slightly sheer blouse for instance. Add dark skinny jeans, a trendy waterfall blazer and flats. Accessorize with a fabulous bag and sunnies and he'll have a hard time concentrating on the movie's plot!

      Guy's Outfit

Guys, trade in your sweat pants for a pair of dark jeans and a casual button-down shirt. Dress it up with a pair of boat shoes or loafers and a nice jacket. Add a little bit of "coolness" with a pair of aviator sunglasses and you'll be ready to impress, I promise.

With the holiday season coming up, these outfits would also perfect for Thanksgiving dinner at his or her parents - not too formal, but not too relaxed.

      Introduction to Series

I used to think securing the first date was the hard part … and then I had to dress for one. I wanted to look good, but not appear like I was trying too hard. It was Fall so the weather was unpredictable - would we have a freak blizzard or would I be blinded by the sun? I knew the date included a hockey game, but then what? I was lost.

After giving my roommate a fashion show of options, I finally settled on the appropriate "hockey game meets possible dinner meets possible bar" ensemble. After the drama of picking my outfit, I decided it would be my gift to humankind to write a post on first date get-ups.

Making a good first impression is crucial. You've got to dress like you're excited to be there - even if "here" is a sub-zero hockey rink. Learn from my dramatic first date experience and read on to find a few first date outfits.
