After meeting and falling in love in college, Jaquie, a Harry Potter fanatic, introduced Rachel to the wonderful wizarding world through endless movie marathons. When Rachel decided to propose, she knew she wanted to incorporate Jaquie's love of Harry Potter in the proposal. She came up with the idea to present Jaquie with a Quidditch set, where the Golden Snitch would open to reveal the engagement ring. Anthony Albano of CustomMade (remember the epic Star Wars engagement ring they created?) brought her vision to life by designing the incredible Quidditch set!

Mad Men's Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser Are Engaged!
By Bridal Guide | Love + Sex – Wed, Mar 20, 2013 12:07 PM EDT
Bledel and Kartheiser in Mad MenTheir on-screen affair didn't last, but the pair found real-life romance after meeting on set last year. A friend revealed to Us Weekly: "Vincent proposed a few weeks ago. She's been wearing her ring. It's huge!"
On the show, Bledel plays the role of Kartheiser's mistress. But she assures fans that he's nothing like his creepy character, Pete: "He's light and funny and has lots of energy on set. He keeps everybody energized as well. Very, very different than Pete," she told AMCtv.com.
First spotted kissing on a plane last summer, they attended Bledel's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star Amber Tamblyn's wedding together in the fall. According to Hollywood Life, Kartheiser told pals at the wedding that he was hoping to propose to Bledel soon. "He was saying they might elope and do parties in New York, LA, and her hometown, Houston," the source revealed.
Congratulations to the happy couple

Claddagh ringCladdagh Ring
The claddagh ring is one of the most well-known Irish wedding traditions. Typically passed down from mother to daughter or grandmother to granddaughter, the ring represents love, friendship, and loyalty. Single ladies wear the ring on their right hand with the point of the heart facing the fingertip. When in a relationship, the ring is flipped around so that the point faces the wrist, symbolizing that her heart has been captured. And when the woman becomes engaged, the ring is moved over to her left hand, with the point of the heart facing the fingertips. The ring is flipped around at the wedding. "Marry whenBuyer Beware: Counterfeit Wedding Gowns Online
By Bridal Guide | Fashion – Mon, Mar 11, 2013 2:44 PM EDTWhile we recognize that it's a growing trend to buy your wedding gown online, there are still some serious concerns that you must consider first. Here, we break it down:
1. If the Price Seems Too Good to Be True, Then it Is
Some online retailers claim to be selling you a designer wedding gown for 50% or more off the retail price. They might even be showing you the same photographs you see on the designer's website or in our gown gallery, leading you into a false sense of security. But what you don't know is that more often than not, these photographs are being used without permission, and the dress you'll receive - if you ever receive it - will be a cheap knockoff version of the gown you fell in love with. Think stiff, itchy fabrics, uneven seams, and unflattering cuts.2. Always Check the Designer's Site Before Making a Purchase

Several reports have stated that the couple will get married at their Chateau Miraval estate in the South of France at the end of May. Though previously reported that it'll be an "intimate and informal" affair, the couple's (now former?!) florist apparently spilled to U.K.'s Grazia magazine that the wedding has some seriously elaborate plans.
"Guests will travel past water fountains and Shetland ponies leaping as they go up the two-mile long drive to the house," said Michel.
And ponies won't be the only animal guests - the couple's kids requested eight elephants, one to represent each member of the family. "When the guests park, they'll see the family of elephants. Brad

A source reveals that the couple wants an intimate wedding with just their closest family members and friends. The low-key nuptials sounds like it'll be a stark contrast from her first wedding to Brad Pitt, which took place on July 29, 2000 in Malibu.
