Ever since One Direction got their start on Britain's X-Factor in 2010, they've dominated the music charts with their fun, fast-paced singles, and now the the five-piece boy band announced plans to to create their very first fragrance, just one more affirmation of their spot at the top of pop culture. (Who doesn't have a fragrance these days?!) The yet-to-be-named women's perfume will launch globally at department stores next year, starting in areas where the group is touring.

"It's pretty stressful," the celebrity stylist told InStyle.com when she stopped by to style holiday looks at the Piperlime store in New York last night. "My life does not lend to shopping days. So, I've been doing a lot online, more and more." In fact, she was one of the many who contributed to Cyber Monday's epic sales day ($1.46 billion in sales!). "It was really fun, actually," she said of her online experience. "I bought some stuff for [my son] Skyler, like a pretend kitchen and an amazing vintage airplane that he can drive. It has pedals." And with gift-giving sessions fast approaching, her advice on choosing something for your tot is simple: "Buy what they love!"

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge debuted new side-swept bangs when made a visit to the Natural History Museum in London yesterday, a sweet complement to her always-shiny chestnut waves. We're pleasantly surprised to see this update because the royal rarely makes changes to her famous strands-as if she needs to!-and while her overall length was left untouched, the shorter layers frame her face and give her trademark look more dimension.

First, cute '90s couple Cory and Topanga-better known as Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel-have signed on to star in the upcoming series Girl Meets World, which follows the married couple and their 13-year-old daughter Riley Matthews. "I promise with the entirety of my heart that we will make Girl Meets World with the same honesty, innocence, and intelligence that you learned to expect from Boy Meets World," Fishel wrote on her Tumblr. We can't wait! Next up, Tyra Banks confirmed via Twitter that she's breaking out her tiara to play real-life doll Eve in a sequel to the original 2000 film Life-Size for Life Size 2. (No word yet if Lindsay Lohan plans to reprise her role as well.) With these Disney franchise additions, we can't help but wonder: Is it too early to hope Hilary Duff will star in a Lizzie McGuire reunion special? Fingers crossed!

Back in August, the bride-to-be swapped her trademark layers for a pixie crop, and just last week, she chopped her long fringe into a short, piecey style. But this change wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision, the singer may have been plotting the spiked 'do for a while. "While she loves the reveal, Miley's choices are more calculated than impulsive," hairstylist Kristina Barricelli, who has worked with Cyrus, told us in our December issue. With the semi-finals pressure on, we caught up with Karina Smirnoff to get the inside scoop on how she made her double dose of costumes stand out on the dance floor with partner Apolo Anton Ohno. "I wanted to make the songs match the outfits and the themes," she told InStyle.com of her inspiration. Their first number, a Big Top Jazz routine to "What You Waiting For?" by Gwen Stefani, featured red, white, and black circus-inspired outfits topped off with thematic face paint. "I really wanted to take in the character in my outfit in this dance," Smirnoff said. "It was called Big Top Jazz for a reason!" For their second dance, a rumba to "Man in the Mirror," she wanted her look to have a "sensual, sexy, with a touch of innocence" feel. "I really didn't want the dress to stand out for this dance," Smirnoff said of her all-white look, which featured accents of embroidery, beats, and cut-out

Breaking Dawn - Part 2 grossed $141.3 million in its opening weekend-making in the eight biggest opening weekend opening of all time-as well as $199.6 million internationally. The mega-appeal is due in part to the cast, including Kristen Stewart, who embarked on an around-the-world tour to promote the finale movie in the series and worked with stylist Tara Swennen to pack some of the boldest, brightest, and best outfits we've ever seen her wear. In Berlin, she shined in a gold Elie Saab dress; in Madrid, she glowed in sunny yellow Christian Dior; in London, she wore a black lace and sequin jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad; and in Hollywood, she dazzled in an illusion Zuhair Murad gown.

The punchy shade makes for a fun twist on fall's subdued tones, and we were so inspired by the look, that we just had to ask her makeup artist, Jillian Dempsey, for the exact shade! "It was really about continuing the luminosity of her dress [a nude Zuhair Murad number] with shimmering makeup," said Dempsey, who opted for Chanel's Rouge Allure Velvet Lip Color in La Sensuelle ($33; at chanel.com). "I used incandescent shadow so the light would bounce off her eyes and contrast bitten, almost stained lips with Kristen's porcelain skin." The lipstick had a matte finish, so to prevent Stewart's pucker from feeling dry, Dempsey swiped on a layer of Chanel's Rouge Coco Baume ($33; chanel.com) before applying the color.
