That's why we spoke to colorist Aura Friedman, who kick-started the trend, to find out how she came up with the effect, how to get it, and who can pull it off. "Ombre and Splashlights cannot be compared-they look completely different and will appeal to completely different people," she said. "Ombre is basically synonymous with painted natural highlight, or variations of sun-bleached hair. Splashlights is a graphic look. It is more conceptual and will appeal and work on a more daring crowd." Friedman recommends seeing a professional to get the look right, as the process takes anywhere from five to nine hours to complete. She was inspired to try the effect after playing with the concept of light reflection, and noted that people inRead More »from Would You Try Splashlights? Get All the Details on This Bold Look

Inspired by the popular game, the official sweets come in four different varieties: Jelly Fish, Mixed Fruit Gummies, Sour Fruit Gummies and chocolate Color Bombs with sprinkles and they are debuting at all Dylan's Candy Bar retail stores (in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles). Xposurephotos.com; Courtesy PhotoPippa Middleton has a new piece of arm candy. Following Prince George's historical christening, it's back to business as usual for the royal aunt, who's been buzzing around London with Milli Millu's "Milan" handbag. The purse, in burgundy leather and black calf hair with gold statement hardware, doubles as a cross-body or shoulder bag and even has enough room to store a 13-inch laptop. She paired the sleek accessory with a black Max Studio cape over her beige Cashmere by Tania dress, and Comptoir des Cotonniers Nelle boots. This isn't the first time Pippa has fallen head over heels for the brand-she's also a fan of the London designer's "Vienna" style. Want to steal Pippa's new favorite bag? You can snag it in the same color as Pippa's (or in taupe and all black) for $720 at millimillu.com.

Wear your heart on your sleeve, or in Olivia Munn's case, wear your heart around your neck. The Newsroom actress was spotted in New York City sporting a bar gold-plated necklace engraved with "Joel," the name of beau Joel Kinnaman. Emma Roberts took a different route, personalizing hers with her first and middle name: Emma Rose. Follow their suit and inscribe your name (or boyfriend's), a favorite word, symbols or even a string of random letters (up to 10 characters) on a Lola James "Alter Ego" bar ID necklace. Blame it on the day job. Orange Is the New Black star Taylor Schilling, who plays WASPy blonde inmate Piper Chapman on the Netflix hit series, is slowly eliminating the color orange from her wardrobe since having to wear her signature prison jumpsuit on the show. We caught up with the actress on Wednesday night at the Whitney Studio Party held at Skylight at Moynihan Station, where she decided to forgo her character's fiery-hued prison get-up in favor of an elegant white Louis Vuitton cap-sleeve dress with a black floral print "I think I'm wearing less orange," Schilling told InStyle.com of her outfit rotation. "I feel like if I wear orange now, I'm bizarrely connected to the show-it's like if I wore a sweatshirt or something that had my face on it. It's a little weird." Instead, the actress has been wearing a plethora of other colors (like pink!) to brighten her wardrobe.

FilmMagic; Splash NewsHer new single may encourage us to get to work, but for her promotional tour for her upcoming album in London, Britney Spears was the one working a variety of sleek, elegant outfits-a definite departure from her trademark look in the late '90s. The singer has come a long way since her beginnings, but lately, her soft blonde curls have become a staple hairstyle, and we love how they gave her all-black ensemble a carefree vibe. Spears, who rode through London on a double-decker bus, was also spotted out in an embellished blazer, a chic camel trench, and sophisticated noir separates. Could this be the singer's new look for the Britney Jean era? We hope so!

It's no secret that the 3.1 Phillip Lim collection for Target was one of the most buzzed-about collaborations in the retailer's recent history, with fans everywhere lining up as early as 4 AM to get their hands on the covetable items. A video of customers throwing down to snatch up their own satchel began making its rounds on YouTube, and last night at The Fashion Group International Night of Stars in New York City, we spoke to the designer to find out if he expected such a reaction. As it turns out, he was just as surprised as everyone else! "I saw the video! Truly, I have no words. I think that when you make something, you want to bring out the best in people, but seeing the video, I was like 'Oh my gosh, the worst came out in people instead,'" Lim joked. "I'm so happy it was well-received, but I didn't expect the frenzy. But maybe I'm just old-fashioned!" Unless you're an avid eBay-er, you may have missed your chance to grab a tote of your own, but the rest of Lim's line is stillRead More »from Find Out What Phillip Lim Really Thought of the Frenzy Over His Target Collaboration

It's been over a month since Rachel Zoe confirmed her second pregnancy, and the stylist-turned-designer has been looking radiant on the red carpet ever since (which comes as no surprise!). What's her secret? "I don't really have maternity clothes," Zoe admitted to InStyle.com during Elyse Walker's 2013 Pink Party, where she glowed in a vintage blush-pink gown. "I don't dress that much differently pregnant than I do when I am not pregnant, honestly. I live in kaftans, ponchos, and drape-y tunics because I like to be comfortable, so dressing is not that different. It is the same thing but it takes longer to get ready, I'll tell you that much!" From her deep navy Salvatore Ferragamogown at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala to the svelte beadedValentino black dress from the 10th Annual Style Awards, where she was honored with the Stylist of the Year award, Zoe has no problem making pregnancy look good-and judging by son Skyler's closet full of Burberry,
