Photo by Eamonn McCormack/WireImageGET THE LOOK: "Bold eyes are back, so don't be afraid of vibrant blues, plums and greens," says Sephora Pro Beauty Team expert Sara Biria of Eva Mendes's eye-catching color. "This look is perfect for someone who doesn't have much time to apply makeup. It's a quick and easy way to play up the eyes with a pop of color."
INSIDER TRICK: For a softer effect, apply eye shadow with a fine-point brush instead of using a pencil, which creates a more hard-edged line.

This asymmetrical pixie bang cut brings more character to her face and draws even more attention to her eyes," says hairstylist Rick Wellman of N.Y.C.'s Patrick Melville Salon and Spa.
INSIDER TRICK: Ultra-short bangs work for women with oval-shaped faces who want their eyes to be the focused-on feature. Keep in mind that this fringe requires that you have perfect arches, because it draws all the attention to your brows.

    • How to Remove Makeup the Right Way

About the time getting squeaky-clean fell out of fashion, a curious thing happened: Women noticed their freshly washed faces still had some traces of makeup. Turns out all those gentle cleansers can't take everything off (especially if it's long-wear!). Here's to saving face -- and your pretty linens.Time Inc. Digital StudioTime Inc. Digital Studio

      1. Start with a cleansing oil
When it comes to heavy lifting (full coverage foundation, SPF 45 sunscreen), regular cleansers often don't cut it, says Miami dermatologist Leslie Baumann. Massaged over dry skin, a cleansing oil dissolves hard-to-remove makeup in seconds, no tugging required. Oil-phobic? Use a wipe on your face, then saturate a cotton square (pros say they're less abrasive than balls) with an oil-based remover and press over eyes for 30 seconds before gently wiping away.

      2. Rinse away oil with a deep cleanser
For combination or oily skin types, follow with a deep cleanser (we like YSL's Freshness Cleansing Milky Veil because it removes every trace of oil without drying

    • Step-by-step to perfect, smooth lips

. Photo by Rob Loud/Getty Images. Photo by Rob Loud/Getty ImagesGET THE LOOK: Chapped lips make a seasonal cameo right around the time that Frosty and Rudolph come on the scene. And if you have cracked or peeling lips, there's no way to rock a fierce red lipstick like Rachel Weisz. But according to Kansas City dermatologist Dr. Audrey Kunin, there's more to a kissable pout than swiping on a stick of lip balm in wintertime.
INSIDER TRICK: Check your ingredients! Cinnamates, which give candy, gum and toothpaste a cinnamon flavor, can dry and irritate your lips," says Kunin. "And some lipsticks contain a preservative, propyl gallate, that cause irritation on many people's lips. Skip these irritants to keep lips looking silky smooth.

    • Modern Bouffant

. Photo by Bryan Bedder/Getty ImagesGET THE LOOK: Beyonce's known for wearing towering sky-high heels and now she has stratospheric hair to match. "This is such a stunning look for evening. It's smooth, high and back, which opens up the face," says Gordon Nelson, international creative director for Regis hair salons.
INSIDER TRICK: Getting the look is not a tall order. Nelson suggests using a flat iron to smooth the top section of hair (where bangs would normally be) back into an exaggerated C-shape. It will help curve the hair up and back. Then tease hair beneath that layer and gently comb the entire area back.
