Sometimes I'll see a gorgeous celebrity who is 10, 20 or even 30 years older than me and think "Whoa. That's what I want to look like when I'm her age."
I'm not one of those people that is terrified of aging, but still: It's nice to get a little reassurance now and then that if you take care of what you've got, your prettiest, most confident years could be ahead of you, not behind you like our youth-obsessed culture would have us believe. So who are the over-40 ladies I look up to? They include….
Halle Berry: She's 44 and her skin looks like it hasn't aged a day. Halle always looks healthy and glowy, like she takes really good care of herself.
Iman: The 55-year-old icon is still stunning and glamorous. And her makeup? Gorgeous. She also has my dream hair color.
Christine Baranski: I know, this one is kind of random. But I love her on The Good Wife. Her hair is always perfectly coiffed, and she can rock a bright red lipstick like nobody's business.

Once upon a time, you ladies helped me find the very best blush ever invented. Now I need your help finding the best facial exfoliator. Who's gonna help me out?
I have tried many good face scrubs and at-home peels in my day, but nothing that has made me really want to commit. And now I feel I'm really ready to find the one--my poor flaky, dull skin definitely is, anyway. Before getting pregnant, I relied on fancy salicylic/glycolic peels at my dermatologist's office, but then I had to lay off those, and now I just don't have the time or energy anymore. So I need a great at-home product or two: a gritty scrub and/or peel that really gets the job done.
Can you help me? If so, share the names of your favorite face exfoliators below! I'll round up the results, call in some samples and start testing them, and if clear winners emerge, I'll re-post and let you all know what to run out and buy! Ready, set, recommend.

Is the planet that controls celebrity haircuts in retrograde right now or what? First Justin Bieber ditches his trademark sideswept bowl cut, and now Jennifer Aniston--queen of long highlighted layers--has stepped out with a brand-new bob.
Jennifer debuted her new bob--and a blonder haircolor--at a photo call for "Just Go With It" in Madrid today. Just yesterday, she was photographed in Germany with her usual longer hairdo. I feel like celebs usually introduce new hairstyles at the beginning of promoting a new project, not somewhere in the middle--so I wonder if this was a planned change or a sudden burst of inspiration she had last night!
Last time we checked, 52 percent of you wished that Jennifer Aniston would change up her look a little bit (just for fun, not because she's ever lacked anything in the gorgeousness department). Maybe she was listening! But now that she has a new haircut, what do you think?

You're a busy woman-you don't have time for a New Year's resolution the length of the phone book!
Experts know so much about health, you'd think they'd be stumped when asked to boil it all down to the most important advice for young women now. Not at all! Glamour contributing editor Dr. JoAnn E. Manson answered us in seconds. "Limit alcohol to one drink a day, eat your vitamins rather than getting them only in pill form and avoid prolonged sitting-it's such a cultural problem for us," says the chief of preventive medicine at Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital. "Sedentary lifestyles are linked to disease, and even regular exercise doesn't make up for it. So I try to walk around for five minutes every hour." We can do that, we thought. Inspired, we asked more top health pros for their crucial advice-in, yes, 100 words or less.

There's a gorgeous line of cosmetics that French women have been into for years. And now we finally have it here in the states.
It's called BlackUp and it's sort of like a Parisian version of M.A.C. or Makeup For Ever-you know, chic and high end but edgy and trendy at the same time. BlackUp was created in 1999 for women of color, but now the line includes foundation shades for all different skin tones and lots of bold, highly pigmented colors for cheeks, eyes and lips. I've been using the blush in BL11 (a coral-y pink) and it's become one of my new favorites. That's saying a lot considering how much blush I hoard.
Celebrity makeup artist Mylah Morales introduced me to the line and she told me that her client Estelle is a fan of the Gold Shimmering Body Oil-she mixes it with her foundation to make her skin look all glowy. Trÿs jolie!
