We've never ones to shy away from unconventional trends on the runways and on the shopping racks. When Birkenstock- and Teva-like shoes began repeatedly cropping up on the Spring 2014 runways (Marc Jacobs and Prada included), we embraced the oncoming era of the comfortable, "ugly" shoe with open arms. But regardless of what we say, it's not really a "thing" until Karl Lagerfeld says so himself.

The looks were dreamy and ethereal, showcasing pastel hues, crystal accents and sheer tulle. And then there were the sneakers.
Each and every look that came down the catwalk was paired with Chanel sneakers handmade by Massaro, a French atelier owned by the French luxury label. Do you live in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic or New England regions of the U.S.? If so, congratulations: Winter Storm Janus is here, and she's headed your way! In addition to freezing temperatures, those of us in the northern states can expect plenty of snow and blustery winds for the rest of today-and well into tomorrow, even. And lest you brush off this particular storm as a temporary annoyance, be warned: there's a good chance we'll get at least one more before this snowier-than-usual winter is through. But in case you haven't noticed, people tend to have very strong opinions about snowy-day umbrella usage, so be prepared to incite the wrath of your fellow sidewalkers and/or subway riders before you open yours up. Here's a better idea: why not simply wear a coat with a hood? Not only does hoodedRead More »from Why a Hooded Coat is an Absolute Winter Necessity

See more: 8 Outfits Men Love on WomenAs Grazia reports, shortly following Atelier Versace's runway presentation, Donatella told the UK's The Sunday Times, "She can wear anything because she has a fantastic body." While that could theoretically include Versace's body-conscious, skin-baring dresses, such designs aren't exactly synonymous with the Duchess' style.

It's also Kate's reach of influence that has Donatella under her spell. "I call it the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge effect," she said.

No matter what your political leanings are, it's pretty hard to deny that First Lady Michelle Obama has an impeccable sense of style and a top-notch wardrobe.
