he other day, I saw two women on the subway looking at photos on Girl A's cell phone. As soon as I heard one of the women yelp, "Yikes! T.G.F.I.," my ears instantly perked up. Yesterday, RiRi took to Instagram to debut a chin-length, choppy bob and a pretty red lip (RiRi Woo, perhaps?) via selfie upon her return to New York. According to Instagram, the Barbados native spent her first night back in the Big Apple partying with bud Cara Delevingne in a (very Rihanna) black velour bodysuit and chic thigh-high boots.

We don't blame her for wanting to relax in the best (and only) way Rihanna knows how-by dramatically changing her look-but we're wondering how long she'll keep this bob around. While it's very mod in an updated, effortless way, we expect her to get sick of it after not too long.
Sound off: what do you think of Rihanna's new bob?

We've known the supermodel with the famous 'brows has had both a natural inkling and deep interest in music for quite some time, but is she actually serious about moving forward with those aspirations? According to her Instagram feed, it sure looks like it.
See more: 8 Outfits Men Love on WomenYesterday, Delevingne gave her 3 million followers a glimpse inside a New York recording studio alongside Isabella "Machine" (as in Florence) Summers and songwriting legend Kuk Harrell-along with the caption, "The beginning." She's also holding a container of honey in one image, meaning she's most likely soothing a tired voice. Hm.
If Harrell is involved in this supposed album, that means it's going to be big; he was the main man behind Justin Bieber's Never Say Never, Rihanna's Loud and Beyoncé's I am… Sasha Fierce. And with Summers, we anticipate thatRead More »from Is Cara Delevingne Currently Recording an Album?

Remember that Mean Girls scene in which Cady and her pals sabotage Regina George by snipping strategic holes in her tank top-and the "headlights" look promptly becomes a trend at North Shore High? Well, fear not: tackling cutout tops in real life doesn't require a girl to bare all, nor does it need to look silly. Done right, baring bits of skin in all the right places is a perfect way to add interest to an otherwise bundled-up look-and yes, contrary to popular opinion, you can wear cutouts well into winter.
Of course, all that depends on whether or not you're wearing the right layers underneath that peekaboo pullover. Frankly, wearing just a sweater as your lone layer isn't really realistic for most-especially when temperatures are taking a nosedive. But we're here to help you out!

Even if nail art is dead to you, you must admit: nothing screams "holiday season" quite like a hand full of twinkling glitter. Of course, icy blues, Christmas-y reds and greens are festive, too. And then you've got your rich navys and plums-decadent, just like the season itself.

I think by nature, motorcycle jackets are irreverent, so it's strange to think of what exactly makes one "traditional". They're usually black leather with a double zip, a little rough and tough around the edges and were originally meant to protect a biker's skin in case of a motorcycle mishap. Of course, the fashion crowd loves a leather jacket, which means the market is filled with endless variations. When she got married, Leandra Medine wore a custom white leather one by Rebecca Minkoff-so clearly, there's a moto for everyone and any occasion. If you already have your leather one, or aren't into leather, here are 20 takes on the classic silhouette with a little extra something. (Although I wouldn't recommend wearing the lace one on a bike.)

It's so much harder to layer clothing at night than during the day-especially right now, smack in the middle of fall. Not just because the temperature drops when it's dark outside, but also because the ideal evening ensemble is supposed to be sleeker and dressier than any work or errand-running outfit. That's a hard look to achieve with several chunky sweaters and a parka.
But getting for dinner, drinks or a party this month doesn't have to be a Sophie's Choice between staying warm and looking good. To see you through late autumn's deep chill, I've pulled together five bundled-up outfits-each tailored to a different type of social event-that look amazing at night.
