Every expert will tell you that tanning isn't good for your skin or health. Plus, there's no need to take such a risk when there are gorgeous makeup bronzers that will give your face a natural-looking sun-kissed glow without the sunburn and wrinkles. Whether you prefer liquid or powder, click through for 10 great options.

Top makeup artists have long depended on treatment-soaked patches to plump lines and help makeup slide on more easily. Now they're adding primers and concealers specifically for upper or lower lids: "Upper-eye products make shadow stay put without creases," says makeup guru Laura Mercier. "The ones for undereyes smooth dark circles and puffiness."

"So the flannel shirt deal-is that a nod to the crispy Seattle weather, or are you just trying to stay warm in front of the refrigerator?" Most movie buffs and fashion fans, of course, can instantly ID this line from Clueless, in which Cher Horowitz pokes fun at stepbrother Josh's lumberjack-turned-hipster style sense. But while the humble plaid button-up may have carried grungy connotations back in the '90s, it's undoubtedly one of this season's must-have buys. In fact, it's near-impossible to scroll through our favorite style blogs or flip through a magazine without spotting a celebrity or model in a checked flannel these days.
Despite its obvious popularity, however, the plaid shirt can be surprisingly tricky to style. But fear not-I'm here to help you out. Click through above to see one of my favorite plaid tops, Rails' Kendra button-up ($128, railsclothing.com), styled into a whopping 10 different looks-some work-appropriate, others tailor-made for theRead More »from One Perfect Plaid Shirt, 10 Fun Ways to Wear It

Kate Moss-the world's most inimitable supermodel, fashion trendsetter and style icon-needs neither an introduction nor a justification as to her natural inclusion in the industry's theoretical best dressed hall of fame. It's rare for Mossy to step outside without immediately dominating headlines and launching trends. Remember that time she accidentally used too much dry shampoo before appearing at a 2010 event-and thousands of women followed suit by misinterpreting and, subsequently, dying their roots grey? Yeah, it's like that.

While the whole piece is certainly worth reading, we've outlined the five most signficant takeaways from her well-worded confession below:
1. "Look to the past. Most women will have an era in fashion that they're drawn towards forRead More »from Kate Moss' Top Five Rules for Dressing Well

Before Victoria Beckham became one of London's most revered authorities on fashion (and before her name itself became synonymous with her eponymously named fashion house), she was simply a former Spice Girl-turned model-turned new "mum." But in 2007, things changed with the launch of high end DVB Denim line in New York. And the rest, as they say, is history.

It's a unique kind of documentary, though, showcased through a brand new type of Skype-created medium: think more of an "interactive editorial," less Ken Burns. This story, which includes behind-the-scenes footage of Victoria prepping for her Fall 2013 show at New York Fashion Week, will live exclusively on the Skype Collaboration Project website and Read More »from WATCH: Your First Look at Victoria Beckham's Revealing New Video Project

How does Lucky love Liu Wen? Let us count the ways: the Beijing-born supermodel's mastered both the runway and campaign realms, having walked for the likes of Balenciaga and Chanel and starred in campaigns for both high fashion and high street brands alike. In 2010, she made history when she was named Estée Lauder's first-ever Asian beauty ambassador. And then there's her famously sweet demeanor to consider-even when she's dashing between back-to-back-to-back shows during NYFW, it's a rare occasion that you catch the brunette beauty without a smile on her face and those adorable dimples on display.
As she's achieved so much in her relatively brief career thus far, it's a bit hard to believe that Liu Wen's only just turning 26 today. But in honor of her birthday, we've opted to spotlight another winning trait of the model's: her stellar sense of personal style. Whether she's hitting the red carpet in head-to-toe black or white or kicking back in high-tops and aRead More »from Six Reasons Why Liu Wen Might Be the Best-Dressed Model in the Biz

While Miley Cyrus performed at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala Saturday night (looking particularly dewy and fresh-faced), the controversial singer was noticeably missing from the actual awards on Sunday. But she wasn't touring or preparing for a new album. According to her last few tweets on Twitter, she decided to take the day off to do housework and shop for beauty tools. She wrote: "Gonna do some serious cleaning/organizing today. My favorite way to spend a day off!" Then a couple of hours later she tweeted, "I needa buy an eye lash curler." Priorities.

My first episode of Valentine's Day anxiety was in the sixth grade. Having just made the move from elementary to middle school, I expected to celebrate the holiday with an inclusive stay-at-home-mom-hosted party similar to those of my K-through-five years. Instead, rather than the afternoon of lukewarm soda and Funfetti cake I'd hoped for, student council hosted a carnation sale. While billed as a fundraiser, everyone knew it was a popularity contest with very high stakes. Flowers cost $1 each, and were delivered during the last class period of February 14-if nobody loved you, everyone saw. Terrified of public humiliation, I spent the days leading up to the carnation swap wondering if I should secretly order some for myself (hey, it worked for Cher Horowitz!) just in case no one else did.
Thanks to my loyal group of friends, I pulled through with a respectable bouquet, only to learn that V-Day gifting stress never really ends. Because even if you have aRead More »from Valentine's Day Gifts for Every Kind of Relationship
