We often get a lot of questions about what to wear during an engagement photo shoot, and if you were wondering the same thing, check out our best tips after the jump.
1. Your attire and accessories should complement the location. High heels for a shoot in the woods won't look right.
2. The colors of your outfits should play off the location. Bold hues look great in a more gritty, urban environment, while softer shades look nice in a rustic setting.
3. It sounds like a no-brainer, but choose clothing in complementary colors. His bright red shirt and your pale lavender cardigan are going to clash in photos.
4. Be sure to bring a change of clothes (or two) and extra accessories so you get a variety of looks.
5. Your ensembles should also match formality-wise. If you're wearing a cocktail dress and heels, he needs to do better than jeans and a T-shirt.

This Friday (11/11/11) is the perfect day of the year to get married-literally. Some cultures believe that a calendar date when all the numbers read the same may symbolize luck and fortune; other people may just think it's kinda cool. BRIDES estimates that 31,000 couples tied the knot on Sunday, October 10, last year (10/10/10)-10 times the weddings that usually occur on Sundays. This year's magic date falls on a Friday, which may mean even more celebrations (we're estimating it will reach 46,000), since everyone will have Saturday to nurse a hangover. This special date could cause an increase in the overall percentage of November weddings (currently at 6 percent), as well as Friday nuptials (which account for 14 percent of all weddings and continue to grow).
"Weddings are milestone events, so it makes sense that couples are attracted to milestone-type dates," says wedding planner Jill Gordon of Jill Gordon Celebrate, in the Hamptons, New York. "It'sJessica Simpson's Wedding on Hold Until Post-Baby

Jessica Simpson's wedding to former NFL player Eric Johnson was supposedly lined up for sometime in November-a year to the month after the couple got engaged-but People now reports that the planning is at a stop. Jessica tweeted a Halloween picture earlier this week of her gauze-wrapped belly, saying "It's true-I'm going to be a mummy!" so it's a logical conclusion that the star and her fiancé want to focus on their growing family right now instead of, you know, seating charts and aisle runners.
Who knows how long it'll be before we see Ms. Simpson's wedding dress, but in the meantime check out our suggestion for what the star should wear...eventually.

Sharing a bedroom closet with your guy-and his precious sports-jersey collection-can get awfully aggravating. Here, deets on keeping things neat so you don't overheat.
Start fresh.
"Pull everything out, then ditch what you don't need," says Hoarders professional organizer Geralin Thomas. (Season four of the A&E show is airing now.) "Paint the interior a clean, bright color, such as white or yellow-it'll make getting dressed easier if you can clearly see what's in there."
Take a side.
If space is tight, use color-coded hangers (say, black for him and cream for you). Group similar pieces (skirts, pants) on your respective sides, arranging them by hue, which "looks neat, and allows you to see if you're buying too much of one item or one color," says Thomas.
Double the rods, double the room.
"Place one rod forty inches above the floor, and another one forty inches above that," Thomas says. (Adjust these heights as needed.) Try metal rods, which won't warp like wooden

Fairchild ArchiveIn sad but true news, reality star Kim Kardashian filed for divorce today, reports People after Ryan Seacrest confirmed the news via tweet: "Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her."
A mere 72 days after the couple's $17.9-million, black-and-white wedding, it seems Kim and Kris have fractured over "irreconcilable differences"-most likely stemming from living in New York City with Kim's sister Kourtney, her boyfriend Scott Disick, and their baby, Mason.
Too many Kooks in the kitchen?
