We recently received an email from a reader bemoaning the lack of fabulous, stylish wedding dresses for pregnant brides at affordable price points. While there are certainly better options out there than there were a decade ago (we're particularly fans of David's Bridal and Terra Amore's maternity selections), we're always on the hunt for even more.
So imagine how thrilled we were when we heard about Tina Mak Weddings, a new collection of gorgeous maternity bridal gowns. The Canadian designer has created silk gowns that are both comfortable and fashionable, and are reasonably priced between $890 and $1,700. Plus, there are accessories like shrugs, sashes, and hair accessories to personalize your look. We're all pretty psyched about the collection-even if you're not pregnant, the dresses would totally look spot-on at an outdoor wedding. Visit Tina Mak Weddings' website to view the entire collection and to order, and be sure to check out our dress gallery forBy Heather Lee and Lauren Matthews, BRIDES

Kate Moss Chooses John Galliano to Design Her Wedding Gown

You had us fooled, Kate Moss. Here we were thinking the model herself was going to design her own wedding dress (yesterday, we mused upon which fashion-forward look she'd go for). But, apparently, Moss decided her design skills were no match for the couture talents of John Galliano.
Moss announced today that the Dior designer will create her bridal gown, which prompted us to review Galliano's most recent couture collection for possible inspiration. Strangely, none of the pastel, voluminous confections feel very..."Kate." We never imagined Moss would buck her hard-edged, leggy style for floor-sweeping strapless gowns. But, maybe that's just a fashion chameleon for you. Visit our dress gallery to find more designer wedding gown inspiration.
What do you think Kate's dress will look like?

Not going to the chapel? Here's the scoop on nonreligious weddings.
WHY GO SECULAR?
Maybe you're not particularly religious and want a ceremony that avoids any mention of God. Perhaps the pomp and circumstance of a wedding in a house of worship don't suit you. Or it could be that you want to create an original ceremony with minimal restrictions.
WHO CAN OFFICIATE?
It varies from state to state. Log onto usmarriagelaws.com for specifics, then verify the info with your local city hall or county clerk's office. Ask recently married friends and wedding vendors for referrals, then meet face-to-face with candidates.
County Clerk
The upside: The ceremony is short and inexpensive, and requires no appointment. The downside: the no-frills vibe, office setting, and (often) long wait.
Judge
In most states, any judge-whether from district or supreme court-can solemnize a marriage.

So tomorrow is the big day-the huge Running of the Brides Sale at Filene's Basement on the Upper West Side of Manhattan (80th and Broadway) starts at 8 a.m. sharp. Over 2,000 designer wedding dresses that were upwards of $10,000 will be marked down to between $249 and $699. And I'll be there, capturing every minute of the madness via Twitter-be sure to follow us at @brides.
"Running of the Brides" Tips From Filene's- Dress in a sports bra and shorts, leotard or swimsuit; while there will be fitting rooms, most brides opt to try on dresses out in the open.
- Leave your handbag and any jewelry at home: it's difficult to keep track of valuables, and last year, one bride lost her engagement ring when it got caught on a dress.
- Don't wear makeup, it might rub off on the dresses.
- If you want to be part of the "rush to the racks," arrive at the store by 6 a.m.; if you'd a more relaxed scenario, show up in the late morning-there will still be plenty of

By BRIDES | Fashion – Mon, Feb 14, 2011 9:52 PM ESTOne of our favorite engaged celebs, Reese Witherspoon, was recently spotted ducking into Monique Lhuillier's Los Angeles boutique, fueling speculation that she's turning to the designer for her wedding dress. While we didn't include a Monique Lhuillier look in our wedding dress picks for Reese, we do think there are several styles that would suit the star.
