    • Can Chris Brown and Others Who Abuse Their Loved Ones Ever Be Reformed?

Will people always associate Chris Brown with abuse? It's official. Chris Brown and Rihanna are together again-musically, at least. This week they released two remixed collaborations, fueling speculation they've also reunited romantically, three years after their relationship came to a violent end. Brown's rep has denied the rumors, but it's clear the two are sending mixed messages and fans are concerned. While Rihanna may have forgiven Chris Brown, who pled guilty to felony assault, others can't forget the startling photo of a battered Rihanna and fear it could happen again. Which begs the question, can an abuser really change?

"Abusers can be rehabilitated, but they have to want to change," said Brian Namey, spokesperson for The National Network to End Domestic Violence ("NNEDV"). Though there are batterers' intervention programs across the country that work with abusers to change their behavior, "a very small number actually make that change," Namey said.

"About 95 percent of men who abuse a woman are capable of change. Only

    • 3 Love Lessons About Men I Wish I'd Known when I was Younger

If only there were a class in school teaching us all of this... This morning, I saw on Madame Noire a spot-on list of lessons women learn about men as they get later into their 20s. In my late 20s, I can definitely relate to most of it, as there are an astounding number of things I didn't know several years ago. Just a few of my favorite lessons:

      1. "They disappear at work. Women are better at multitasking. And even though women know that, it takes them a few years to understand why men can go off to start their work day, and somehow not text or call allll day. Eventually, we learn that when men get to work, they get in the zone and they really can't jerk their attention out of there to focus on a text until the day is done. There are way too many other distractions and requests in the workplace, so it's not that surprising that your text to him at 1 p.m. didn't receive a response until 9 p.m."

Yes! It takes a really long time to figure out that men and women have different communication styles, and deal with it appropriately. Not to

    • Mormon Marriages: Are They More like Mitt Romney or the TV Show 'Big Love'?

A look at modern Mormon marriage (read: the kind without sister wives).Misinformation and confusion about the Mormon faith are not in short demand. This is due, in part, to Mitt Romney's campaign for the presidency, in which his faith has surfaced as an issue and raised Mormonism's profile in the media, leading to such incendiary stories as "Did Mitt Romney Convert His Dead Atheist Father-in-Law to Mormonism?" While political critics may highlight his flip-flopping stances on abortion and gay marriage, and supporters tout his business acumen, an underlying question of his campaign remains: is America ready to elect a Mormon president? Related: Inside Mitt And Ann Romney's Marriage

Meanwhile, TV shows like Big Love and Sister Wives portray Mormons as polygamists, though the LDS church outlawed plural marriages in 1890. Almost all of the stereotypes floating around in regard to Mormonism serve to portray its church members as Other. In a recent Pew Research Center survey of Mormons, 62 percent responded that most Americans know "not too much/nothing" about

    • Do Your Partner's Social Skills Embarrass You? How to Deal

Couples may be very happy together, but a partner's social behavior can humiliate the other.I hear about it week after week, month after month. From men and women. No, it is not affairs. Here's what it is:

"When we are home together, life is great. But when we are with friends, family, workmates, bosses (take your pick-all are mentioned by various clients of all ages), he/she does things that make me want to hide under a table, or better yet, run."

      The examples are endless...

A thirty-something bride with a demanding PR job has recently married. "It took me so log to find him," she explains. "He is kind, hard working and great in bed. But when he is with my friends or co-workers, he is forever saying stupid things and acting like a total jerk. He's asked my friend who is desperate to have children, what she is waiting for. He's gone to my boss's house, reached across the table for bread and spilled red wine all over a white table cloth."

A successful psychologist, who after "an abysmal and empty marriage," is happily married to a construction worker. She explains: "I adore

    • How to Fight Fair in Your Relationship

Words you should never say during an argument and other conflict advice for couples. When navigating the rough and rugged waters of a relationship, one of the trickiest places to steer your metaphorical love canoe through is a conflict.

Yes, arguments happen and no, they aren't always pretty. And, thanks to the differences in the way our brains are wired, men and women handle them differently. Luckily our friends at Tokii polled their users to give us some helpful tips on working through conflict in a relationship. Now, steering that canoe through tumultuous waters may become a bit easier, so long as you follow these bits of advice (and check out the infographic below).

      1. Hit it head on. No passive-aggressive Facebook and Twitter updates here, people. Rather, the majority of men and women want to deal with conflict directly-62 percent and 64 percent, respectively. In a world where many turn to social media to complain instead of confronting issues in person, this is incredibly refreshing to hear.

      2. But don't say these words.
Speaking of refreshing to hear, there

All of these men and women have a great chance of taking home an Oscar at the 84th Academy Awards!

The biggest award show of the year is just a few days away... are you ready?

Well, we certainly are! We have cleared our Sunday, stocked up on popcorn and have filled out our 2012 Oscars Ballot. All we have to do now is watch and see who of the following sexy nominees will go home with glory, and who will need a shoulder to cry on (possibly ours?).

      1. Viola Davis, Best Actress Nominee

Actress Viola Davis is the front-runner for Best Actress after taking home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Leading Role for The Help.

Although the beautiful leading lady (and new mom!) already feels like a winner at home with her adopted daughter, Genesis, Davis does admit that her role in The Help has changed her life for the better.

"I kind of found my own voice. I've suffered from years of low self-esteem, shyness and now I really feel like now is a time to step into all of who I am. You know, more so than ever," she told CBS News recently. Related: "You Is Kind,
