    • VIDEO: Can Sexual Fantasies Ever Be Wrong?

Do you have elaborate, sexual fantasies? Do they make you feel like you're doing something wrong? Well, keep on dreaming.

In this video, author, sex therapist and YourTango Expert Melissa Fritchle explains that many people fantasize. "You want to think about fantasy as a safe realm. It's a place where you can safely explore the outer edges of your desire," says Melissa.

So, what does this mean? Melissa suggests letting your fantasies "take you to different place," and "[using] them to explore."

    • A New Survey Reveals the Real Reasons Couples Get Divorced

Longtime couple Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman announced their separation.A survey of counseling professionals from YourTango.com-the digital leader in love and relationships-offers compelling insights into why marriages fail. The leading cause of divorce? Communication problems, followed by sexual infidelity and "not spending enough time together/not mutually prioritizing the marriage."

More from YourTango: Top 10 Causes Of Divorce

Unfortunately, 54% of experts polled agree with the assertion made by author Dana Adam Shapiro that only 17% of marriages are happy. However, YourTango Expert Meri Arnett-Kremian is skeptical, explaining "I'm suspicious of the bias of his interviewees since they were talking about the breakup of their marriages-which presumptively were unhappy or they'd still be together. How are we defining happy?"

Experts also had bad news for divorcées: 58% agree that a divorcee's chances of getting divorced are higher than someone who has never been married.

Another indication a marriage will fail? Cold feet. Consistent with the results of

    • Is a Democrat-Republican Relationship Destined to Fail?

Could you be with someone on the other side of the political fence?During the last election, my neighbors Mark and Jennifer were at odds with each other. They had been married for over 25 years and always voted for the same party. This year was different. Mark was voting for McCain, and Jennifer was voting for Obama.

More from YourTango: Love Bytes: Are Republican Women Really Prettier?!

Jennifer and Mark work together in their family business and have raised four great sons. Jennifer tends to be outspoken and sees the world in black and white, right and wrong. Mark is much more easy going and flexible. Like other couples they have overcome challenges yet still remain devoted to each other.

Mark had mentioned to me that he was planning to vote Republican this year. I didn't know how they were handling their differences but one day as I walked past their front yard I noticed two political signs in their yard. They were shoved into the ground right next to each other.

I smiled because it looked as if someone had measured the distance from the street

    • 5 Things Separating Parents Actually Do Right

Are you getting divorced? We've all heard the same stories about divorce: the parent who does his best to badmouth his ex, the parent who tries to keep the kids away from the ex as some sort of punishment, the parent who manipulates child support payments. These things do happen and plenty of children are harmed because of these and other divorce-related mistakes.

More from YourTango: How To Talk To Your Kids About Sex

On the other hand, many parents do divorce right. Lots of parents understand that divorce is terribly hard on their children. These parents try to minimize the trauma every step of the way.

Here are five divorce techniques parents get right:

      1. Focus on your children. Your main focus should be on the kids instead of the "stuff," i.e. the money or your own feelings of anger, sadness or fear.

As much as divorce can be devastating for parents, it is often more so for kids. They may not show signs of trauma in ways the parents would expect, but it doesn't mean they're not being traumatized by the

      1. Modern Family's Cameron and Mitchell

Modern Family has won 12 Daytime Emmy Awards and we know why! Besides the wonderful cast and hilarious script, Cameron and Mitchell's relationship is one of the main things we can't get enough of. Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and partner Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) work through many issues like public displays of affection and their own emotional issues from past relationships. Audiences first met them while they were on a plane with their adopted daughter, Lily coming home from Vietnam. Their first task was bringing her into their family who were wary of their gay son and advised if the couple was "bored" to "get a dog." Many people can relate to the universal sting of a

How healthy are you? Most of us feel we have too much on our plates, both literally and figuratively. So, we start on a journey from here (wherever you are) to there (wherever you want to be) - pursuing a personal version of vibrant health and happiness.

Usually, this path to wellness is seen as an uncomfortable journey that requires a lot of inner willpower. As Mick George sums it up, "Anytime we say we 'have to' do anything, it means we are living our life reluctantly." There is a distinct lack of enthusiasm.

This is why we see diets and health programs fail again and again as we try to adapt ourselves to someone else's idea of normal. No wonder there are so many obstacles in our way; we simply feel powerless and misunderstood.

My focus at BodyVision Health Coaching is to give you the tools you need to create your own path to wellness. There are three steps to this process. The duration of each step depends on your personal needs. You can use the free workbook, get on our lists, join the membership,

    • Dating and Drinking: 4 Etiquette Rules to Live By

Mixing alcohol with dating can create a shaky cocktail. You're on a first date and it's time to order a beverage. Should you drink?

It depends on your ultimate goal. If you're seeking a great relationship, then your first date should be all about discovering basic compatibility, including chemistry. Since alcohol fosters false chemistry, the first rule of dating and drinking etiquette is this: Don't drink on the first date.

There's plenty of time to enjoy that little buzz together later, once you establish compatibility. On the first date it's essential to be level-headed and to ask great questions, such as my all-time favorite suggestion for single clients: "How long has it been since your last relationship and why did it end?" If you are stone-cold sober, you will listen more attentively, learning far more than you can while drinking.

So now you're on a second date, and you've decided that it's okay to drink now. You order first, requesting your favorite cocktail. He orders second, and opts for an iced tea. Oops! Is this a dating faux
