      i spent this past weekend in new hampshire and on saturday we happened upon a huge street fair in Portsmouth , NH. While checking out the many booths i came across the nahcotta gallery and outside they were selling such fun items.

      their booth was so colorful that it drew me in. they had fantastic t-shirts.


      my 1 st little obsession is with these adorable birdie tealights. they were so adorable. they are $12 each and would make a fun addition to a wedding or spring event.

      when i heard that tim russert had passed away, i felt a literal pain in my heart . he truly was a great man .

      his son luke spoke on       the today show this morning and really made an impact. what a good son .

      another great supermarket discovery. bailey doesn't bark is a designer on the site and combines drawings with practical items (per the profile on the site!).


      how incredible is this stuff. from the sleeping penquins to the tea bag cup.

      this weeks something blue looks sooooo fun! i want to have a bright colorful room and not 14 foot ceilings to hang it in.


      it is from ikea and is only $59.99. it comes in white too but i love the blue.


      i have to admit that i am sort of scared of these types of chairs. i have a fear (no matter how sturdy they seem) that it will fail on me. but i am sure this is a sturdy one!!

      a recent purchase from ikea that is continuing to put me in a good mood when i look at it. this leaf light was a very reasonable $29.99.


      when i moved into my apartment in Chelsea(NYC), my room came with a great fire place which I updated and this leaf light fits perfectly.


      i think this would be a great fit in a hallway or bathroom. go to ikea.com to see other great versions of this same light. happy decorating!

      this weeks something blue comes from the etsy shop of teresa tudor. she has the most clever pendants. i just love them.

      this blue one is called "june bloom" how appropriate being that this is week 1 of June.


      i like this one a lot! it is called "black bud"


      and as if these could be more clever…they are made on scrabble tiles. she is a gem! and they are SOOO reasonable at $5.50 each.
