my something blue entries have turned into blue dress entries lately. i am loving this dress by the UK store Monsoon. It is called the chandini embroidered dress and i love it. it is more of a deep teal than blue but fits in the family.

the dress costs 95 pounds, which is pretty pricey for the US . You can buy it here at monsoon.

i need to own this comforter…it would match so well with my room. it is from 2modern.com and is called the organic cove and is by amenity. it is a duvet cover made of 100% organically grown cotton so it is not only "awesome", "beautiful" and "hip" but it is also environmentally friendly.

[Ed. note: One of our most committed posters, Carolyn Clark, wrote about this great lighting fixture last week, and I can't help but wonder if there are d.i.y.-able possibilities here. I don't know anything about the wiring that would be involved, but it seems like you could customize a similar thing about a million different ways. Anyone out there ever try making something like this?]

I am loving this light from z galerie . I saw the display at a store but wasn't able to snap a picture. It looks so funky but still elegant.
