    • Becoming Older Age

I have to make some kind of comments and of course humor about working and making it America as a single man. I always thought as I was growing up that if you worked and got a house with a nice women life would as they say be rosey. Well that all changed when my wife diviored me in 2007 and married some rich younger dude that had no clue how my fomer wife really is about many things including life itself. Having said that I know many single older people can look in the mirror and see the changes that have incurred sometimes lots of pain and while others make you smile while feeling good inside. I really had a major life change when I turned fourty and one of my now ex-girlfriends that I sometimes still see said to me you know your not young anymore. With this statement she added it is going to be progressively harder to get any good pretty woman any age to want you because they look at you as gramps (Grampa) and your old enough being fourty something to totally be of no interest to any

    • Grilling Your Favorite Foods

I find that grilling food is really a good stress relief not to mention that it is allways doing something you love and enjoy doing on any day. I do myself prefer grilling my favorite dishes on a gas type grill which allways makes my food taste just awesome. If you take the time and patience to stand there at the grill your going to not burn your food into a black hard rock. I like putting on lots of variety of seasonings on my food which usually is better for you anyway than just useing jelly or butter and other fattening additives which add weight and colesterol to your diet. If your going to grill fish for instance try using lemon pepper or lime suace and dip in into it before you put it on the grill. For pork (country style ribs) use a basil vinerette or add curry and some spices with a touch of mint with blue cheese sauce for extra zip put some hot peppers in with the pineapple marinade. If you want to rally add flavor to your chicken pieces dish use cherries, raspberries then add

I could not resist the temptation to sit here and write about the hardships of getting a pqaying job these days. It seems that everyone who wants to work is singing the same blues about the lack of good paying jobs and how badly they or someone they know is being hurt by it. I know because even though I am employed in many business ventures and a paart time job on top of it the cost of living just eats up all my income. It is very hard for people I know to get employment out there in America because nobody is hiring and that is really causing a lot of pain in everyone I meet and my close friends too with one exception because they are filthy rich. The cost of everything is more expensive than what was even a decade ago and yet the lack of jobs and enough income to sustain ones family and yourself is not their anymore. More people have found themselves displaced by the current economic woes than at most any time in history of the last hunderd years. The fact that when you look for a

    • Pain Management

I would normally write about some current event and explore it but the last few weeks have given rise to something that is personal for me. It is that I have noticed more older people are forced to deal with physical pain that sometimes can be the very problematic. I have been going through my own roller coaster this year with managing physical pain which I never had before and sfor some reason turning fourty something makes this happen. I know tha I have most of my life been in better physical condition than most people in my generation and older but ageing does not so funny things to your body. Like that ouch in your hip that just seemly at the most inappropaite moment grabs you with a sharp stabbing needle pain or that nagging dull throbbing in your tooth that no matter what you do seems to have a life all it's own. Pain comes in many forms and can be sometimes as in for me a come a go situation from all the past injuries that I had over my life span. I never had much of a normal

    • Music Cures All

I have to say that today I got to thinking how music is really a therapy for a lot of modern mental and physical ailments. My reasoning as I thought of this today is that if you listen to the music you like when you are feeling sad or happy it has a overall effect on how you feel. Just like what colors do to you so does music do even more to promote healing on a larger scale than even what food or diet suppliments do to your body. The interesting thing is as you listen longer to your favorite tunes you feel more relaxed and you are more able to concentrate on what ever your daily tasks are at hand. This calming and soothing effect is really your body response to the positive effect of what it overall does to ones self image and body wellness. To employ music as a cure for all kinds of disease medical studies have shown that if you listen to at least four to seven hour of music a week you are less likely to be sick and less likely to die early in life. Wow.. what a real blessing as you

    • Soulfest Gathering

II just got to sit here and write a good piece about Soulfest Christian gathering since I have been there in the same area before. It is a group of about one hundered thousand people representing a broad spectrum of church groups and offers lots of variety of music and good hometown music. The artist and bands lined up to play this two week festival is really woth the ride and yes you can go camping right on the grounds in fact they encourage everyone to bring the camping equipment. This festival is held every year at Gunstock Ski area which is a really pretty place to be and enjoy nature as there is alot to see and hear in this beautiful place of Franconia New Hampshire which is surrounded by mountains and lots of pretty forests. If you get a chance to go to this unique festival that is held once a year you will not be disappointed in being there as there is much to do at one of these events. It costs about 400 dollars to go to it depending on what state your coming from and that
