54nen3e7Dear Friends and beloved friends!!! Thank you so much for your prayers and warm wishes for my recovery!!! Finally got my breathing back under control, diabetes regulated and kidneys acting ass they should!!!!! It took a little over a wseek to accomplish this but I am finally home.....with new addition.....oxygen!!! I have been told I need it 24/7 so,son and I have figured how many feet of tubing I need just to navigate my chair, desk, craft area and kitchen!!!! It works out to 50 feet so.......everyone who comes to visit has to watch out for tubing!!!!Read More »from Out of the hospital.......finally!!!!!
I must admit the oxygen does make life and activities easier!!! Not as attractive as a new pair of earrings but it will do. Now I face the job of clearing my dest of the gathered info and mail so I can go forward. I must admit that I caused the level of the St.John's River to dip last evening with my 1 hour shower but it did feel so great. I think hot showers are one of the greatest gifts of the 20th century!!!!
I hope everyone is feeling renewed as I do. I walk my yard every day to watch for the return of all of my plant friends. My azala's this year had a very short bloom time but roses are trying to make up for it. As I stroll the yard I look for new planting spots for herbs and veggies. The problem is that only a small spot of the yard gets enough sun. The rest of the yard is under heavy leaf cover. I do love my many trees and the coolness they bring in the heat of summer. Since I joined the herb society I want to grow everything we hear about. My daughter Kitty has been bitten by the herb bug worse than I have. She has been collecting recipes which use fresh herbs and her booth at the herb festival was a success. The problem is....she lives in an apartment. It has a screened in patio and a large wood walkway and stairs outside her unit so she uses every spare space. She even designed a tubular PVC planter for some of her plants. AND...mom gets the spare plants to go in my yard. I go moreRead More »from ALL IS GREEN HERE IN THE LAND OF WARM BREEZES
I love this time of year...Valentines day,Easter and beginning of Spring. I have such a feeling of rebirth!!
Valentine's day is also my wedding anniversity...15 years!!!! I picked valentines day as my wedding day for it's sentimental value and also it makes it easier for my husband and I to remember.
Easter and beginning of spring!!!!! I love snow scenes but enough is enough this year. We don't have snow here in florida but this year we have had more than enough rain and cold. Dreary weather causes us to stay inside, read and plan for our new gardens.
Easter is late this year and hopefully spring should be in full swing by them. May all of you have a wonderful valentine's day and start planning now for Spring!!!!!!
