June 16-19th proved to be monumental as the Plus size fashion industry made a resounding statement once again this year during Full Figure Fashion week. Many designers including Monif C., Pheline, Osun Designs, K. Renee, Jewel Shannon Couture, Igigi, and Krystal Frazier. Check out the slideshow of some of the styles from the Finale Runway event. Yesterday kicked off many parties and events to bring in BET's 2010 Award Show. Of these parties was Debra Lee's main Pre reception event. Although Debra Lee, CEO of BET, stepped out in a very stylish, attention-demanding way, other celebrities seemed to disappoint in the fashion category. One can only hope that the red carpet for the BET awards will be more satisfying.

This look work well due to the usage of light colors, mixed with neutrals. The neutral colored shorts definitely make the light blue blazer stand out, and also helps to create a longer, leaner leg. A year ago today, an icon left behind a legacy.
