Jennifer Lawrence Jennifer Lawrence is no stranger to makeovers - she's been blonde, brunette, then blonde again over the past two months - but the short haircut she debuted at this weekend's GLAAD Media Awards is a whole new look for the Oscar-winning actress. "It's the shortest her hair has been her whole life," Lawrence's hair stylist Mark Townsend told Harper's Bazaar. "She didn't want the conventional asymmetrical bob (shorter in the back, longer in the front). She wanted tons of layers-so we went with a full-on shag, with bangs and a lot of face-framing layers," Townsend explained. (He also posted an adorable post-cut pic on Instagram.)

It's hard to say whether the actress actually cut bangs or was sporting a faux pair, as many celebs have done in the past. One thing is for sure: If they aren't real, she should head to a salon immediately. Not only are the bangs flattering, but they make her look older, and since the 22-year-old is constantly being typecast as a teen, this new hairdo could help her land some bigger, more mature roles.

Tatcha Some of the biggest beauty trends in recent memory (BB creams, anyone?) have originated in Asia, which is way ahead of the West in the skincare game. "Korean women, on average, use 26-27 steps in their beauty regimen, versus American women who only use six to seven," says Global Aesthetician and Skincare and Beauty Expert for Korean skincare brand Amorepacific, Dana Nicolette. What is it that these women know about beauty that I'm missing? I went in search for some of the best Asian beauty secrets to learn how to incorporate them into my current routine.

MYTH: Fewer calories is always better. With Weight Watchers and nutrition apps like MyNetDiary now diet staples, calorie counting is still a big diet trend. But less isn't always better. "You need to fuel your body, especially when you are working out," says Haley. "If you don't take in enough calories, your body may think it's starving itself and actually holds on to weight as protection." So fuel up often, and stash healthy snacks in your purse or at your desk.

Gwyneth Paltrow In recent years Gwyneth Paltrow has become known for constantly working out and eating healthy, but it turns out she may be even more obsessive when it comes to looking young. In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 40-year-old actress admitted to undergoing regular laser treatments, called Thermage.

"'I have a great dermatologist in L.A. who gave me this amazing laser the last time I was there,' Gwyneth told the magazine. 'It's called Thermage. It's not invasive. I went out to dinner right afterward and I didn't look crazy, but it's quite painful. It feels like someone's smacking your face with a rubber band that has an electric shock in it. But I would do it again, because I feel like it took five years off my face.'"
Even more surprising is the fact that Gwyneth will never say never to plastic surgery, but she won't be getting Botox anytime soon.

Swarovski I like to think of Swarovski as an adult BeDazzler. The crystals are able to transform an ordinary cell phone or dog collar into a sparkly, fabulous accessory. So when I heard the brand was coming out with a beauty line, I responded with a resounding "Duh!" It just makes sense.

The Aura By Swarovski beauty collection, which goes on sale on HSN April 15th, features a fragrance ($90), a perfume concentrate ($59.90), a highlighter ($59.90), two glosses (each $59.90), and six lip colors (each $24.90).
The lip colors go on with a hint of color, but leave behind a noticeable sparkle, and the perfume mixes notes of lychee with white jasmine and rose. The highlight of the collection, however, is the packaging. Each product is adorned with a crystal, making it stand out amongst the 50 or so lipsticks I leave scattered around.
