While some absent-minded habits may just mean you need to step up your beauty routine (fresh manicure = no cuticles to nibble, right?), you might actually be sending a subtle message to those around you without even knowing it. We consulted body language expert Tonya Reiman to get her take on what five common tics really say about you.

The habit: Scratching or rubbing your skin The reason: Winter dryness is making your skin itchy and tight. What your body language says: "Scratching or rubbing the skin typically indicates that we need to be soothed due to anxiety or high levels of emotion. Self-soothing gestures are a signal that an individual is uncomfortable, so it is a red flag for deception."

The habit: Flipping your hair

You can use tape or a nail stencil for a more precise line. Another tip: Don't skimp on cuticle maintenance with this mani. The focus is on the base of the nail, so it needs to be neat.

Jennifer Aniston Aveeno has just announced that Jennifer Aniston will be the new face of their skin care line.

"We can confirm that Jennifer Aniston will be partnering with Aveeno for skincare," Jen's rep, Stephen Huvane, said to E! News. "You can expect to see the results of this collaboration later this year."

This news comes as quite a surprise considering the actress just inked a deal with with Living Proof. Not to mention, she's also the spokesperson for SmartWater. Is it possible Jennifer is lining up these endorsements so she can take a break from acting and stay home with a baby? Ok, maybe I'm reaching, but a girl can dream.

We've been eagerly awaiting Drew Barrymore's new beauty line, Flower, since we first heard about the project, and now the products are finally hitting store shelves. Last night at a launch party for the brand, which is a collaboration with Walmart and available exclusively from the mass retailer, we caught up with Drew herself, who told us all about her role in developing the products and being a "drugstore queen."

Do you have any quirky beauty habits, or tricks you've picked up being in front of the camera for so many years?
I definitely still love to wear my lipstick on my cheeks. There's symmetry in the color, I love that. I love when people highlight the corners of your eyes, and all of a sudden you're like, 'Oh my God! What did you just do?' And I don't do it as well, but it is an art.

I wash my face as often as I can in a day, because it keeps my skin clear. I'm kind of drugstore
