    • Do You Want to Be Free from a Negative Situation in Your Life?

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him,

      Wilt thou be made whole?

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another step down before me.

Jesus said unto him, Rise, take up thy bed and walk.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked.

      John 5:5-8 (K.J.V)

Note: Jesus knows the situation each of us is in. Regardless of the situation, he has the power to change it. If it is sickness, loss of income or whatever the case may be he can deliver. This man had a disease for 38 years. And was very weak, and had difficulty walking without help. An angel blessed the water in the pool during a certain season. Afterward, whoever entered the pool first was cured from whatever disease they had. The man was too ill to get there in time to enter the pool. Someone else always got there before him. That was a

    • We Can’t Outsmart God

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

      Source: Psalm 139:1-4

Note: We have some in society who think that no one is smart enough to know what their true thoughts are. As humans we can't actually know what another individual is thinking, even when they say they like us but their attitude tells a different story. If a person say they like you, but they say mean things about you, that's not like.

There are those who practice behavior that is questionable while claiming to love the Lord. God knows every thought we each have. The person who say they like someone, yet they don't; God judge such individual to be a liar. He knows our plans and has the power to stop us or to allow us to succeed.

    • God’s Statutes & Purpose Described

The Statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweater also than honey and the honeycomb.

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

      Who can understand his errors?

Cleanse thou me from secrets faults.

Keep back thy servant from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight O LORD my strength, and my redeemer.

      Psalm 19:8-14 (K.J.V)

Note: The commandments were given for a purpose. They are God's laws put in place for the human race to follow. His Statutes warn us of the consequences to come if

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

And all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

      Deuteronomy 28: 1,2 (K.J.V)

Note: As with all Valuable things that comes with a price tag, so does God's blessings.

There are conditions that God requires before he hands out his blessings. Some of us are too busy meddling in other people's affairs that we are allowing our own requirement to go unchecked; flaws in the fabric of our own lives are cause for not receiving God's blessings.

As parents, we don't reward our children with gifts when they disobey us. Neither does our Father in Heaven reward us when we disobey him.

    • Depression and Distress

My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. I watch, and am like a sparrow alone upon the house top.

But thou, LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

This shall be written for all generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

      For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth: to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

Note: When people are experiencing overwhelming pangs of despair from the loss of a loved one or loved ones, terminal illness, health problems, loss of income, personal property, (one of

    • Making the Case to Voice a Complaint

Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. Suffer me that I may speak; and after I have spoken, mock on.

As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.

Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.

      Job 21:2-6 (K.J.V)

Note: There comes a time when we all feel the need to let our feeling be made known even to God. When we complain to people, sometimes they become impatient and uncaring. And as Job noted, Why, should we not be concerned that our complaints are going to be ignored?

If we look to man to solve our problems we should be very afraid.

When we complain to God, he has the power to grant our requests. Man can do very little to nothing to solve problems that we each encounter.

    • Hypocrisy and Hatred

The individual, who vehemently expresses hate for a selected group of people based on their gender or race, while pretending they like them, is being dishonest with themselves.

I met such an individual, the experience was not pleasant. We both were very uncomfortable. Upon meeting this lady, I greeted her with Hello, how are you?

She said "Hi." Then after a long pause, while staring into space, she said " I hate white people." After a brief pause, she further stated, while continuing to stare into space, "I can't stand them."

Who would make such a stupid statement to a stranger?

Neither of us said anything else.

When the "White People" arrived, this woman who had just said she hate the whole race, started talking friendly with them and calling them honey, and turned on such a charm, that appeared to be love.

My thoughts were, don't ever trust this woman, and leave anything you are going to eat or drink in her presence.

The thing that troubled me about

    • Six Things the Lord Hates

These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Source of information: Proverbs 6:16-19 (K.J.V)

Note: This information is a mirror for each of us to view or character daily, just as we do our physical features. Many of us use some kind of product to improve on our physical features to keep our appearance looking desirable, because it matters to us how others view us.

Here we get the opportunity to check our inner features. For those of us who look like these images inside, the mirror shows some disgusting things that are very offensive to God because they hurt others.

    • Anger Without a Cause

We have to address Intimidation. To intentional behave in any way that would cause harm to another person or to instill fear of injury to receive pleasure or to achieve something to one's own satisfaction is wrong.

We can't teach children to respect each other and refrain from bullying when they see such behavior among adults. All of the efforts that are done will make the job of those of us in society who wants to stop bullying very difficult.

Jesus taught that one should treat others with the same respect they want to receive. Whether for religious or political purposes, or for any reason one might feel the need to intimidate others to achieve something, in the end there is nothing of value to be gained.

      Scripture:

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: Matthew 5: 22 (K.J.V)

    • Keeping Your Business Safe

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: to shew forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Psalm 92:1, 2 (K.J.V)

Note: Giving thanks to God and singing praises inspires hope, and produces courage, determination, and strength. It also, gives us comfort and peace. Those who possess find satisfaction. Surveys have been done with positive results for prayer regarding those who pray frequently.

There are times when every individual need to empty their mind to someone without having their personal business being publicized to others who can make things worse by spreading false rumors.

      Prayer works for me.
