The closest thing we as a country have to a real-life Barbie and Ken, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have added another home to their arsenal. The couple has snapped up a condo in the One Madison glass tower on E. 22nd St., according to Page Six. Never ones to hold back (check out their recently built, 14,000 square foot Los Angeles palace, replete with "koi stocked moat"), the pair reportedly spent $14 million on the building's model apartment, "a full-floor private residence" on the 47th floor with "amazing city and river-to-river plus park views." In other words, Gisele will be able to wake up every morning and actively choose what kind of vista she feels like gazing at as she sips her chai tea.Read More »from Inside Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s $14 Million N.Y.C. Some commenters think this ring, at left, is a baby gift from Prince William. The ur-Kate Middleton style blog What Kate Wore has details of Kate's peacock-colored appearance last week at a hedge-funder gala, and with it, an interesting note: the guest of honor was wearing a large, diamond-and-platinum (or white gold, but let's be real here) ring on her right hand. Kate does not typically wear rings, aside from her gumball-sized, 18-carat sapphire engagement stone. And because of that, or perhaps because wild, diamond-inclusive conjecture is fun for the monarchy-obsessed, some of the blog's commenters have dubbed the cocktail piece a potential "push present" from Prince William, speculating about it both on the blog and on the site's Facebook fan page.

The concept of the push present, among the world's worst-sounding things, allegedly encompasses anything from a deep-tissue massage to a hug, and despite the exclusionary aspects of its name, "C-section moms definitely deserve one too," perRead More »from Prince William’s Baby Gift to Kate? Less than two weeks after Sons of Anarchy blond Charlie Hunnam dropped out of 50 Shades of Grey, Variety reports that producers have found their replacement: Jamie Dornan. While we're a little disappointed that our Eastwood-ian dreams have been cruelly extinguished, Jamie seems like he'll do just fine. As we've discussed before, finding a relatively unknown actor with "nothing to lose" seemed like the way to go here.
So let's get to know our new friend Jamie a little bit better:
He dated Keira Knightley. We all (indirectly) have Keira Knightley to thank for this casting, as the actress is the one who introduced Jamie to her agent in 2003 after meeting him on an Asprey photo shoot, kickstarting his career. The two hideously unattractive individuals proceeded to date from 2003 to 2005. After their breakup, he wrote a song about her, which included the lyrics: "I can see your fancy friends trying to steal your innocence . . . you're so weak around them." Barring the typos and the presence of at least one soft-core-porn distributor, Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian at San Francisco's AT&T Stadium last night sounds like something out of the rom-com archives. Per Us Weekly's account of the heart-quickening Keeping Up with the Kardashians plot twist, Kim and Kanye arrived at the stadium via chauffeured car on what happened to be Kim's 33rd birthday. With the sweet but somewhat desperate sounding "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" message lit on the Jumbotron and the blindfold finally removed from Kim's head, Kanye got down on one knee to propose with a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring. At that point, approximately 50 of the couple's friends and family emerged from the dugout to offer their congratulations. According to one onlooker: "It was the most romantic thing ever-the ultimate surprise!"
The ultimate surprise . . . and also an amalgamation of many rom-com proposals that may have been embedded deep in Kanye'sRead More »from Five Ways that Kanye West’s Proposal to Kim Kardashian Resembled a Basic-Cable Rom-Com

The seven individuals named as godparents to Prince George today represent something of an upper crust motley crew: the septet span a range of ages and stations, and each has a very different connection to Will and Kate. There was one godparent in particular-Hugh Grosvenor-who really caught our eye, however, at first due to his age. As we know from Philosopher Taylor Swift, 22 is an age marked by feelings of happiness, freedom, confusion and loneliness-misery and magic, both at the same time. But, we'd imagine, based on what we can glean of Hugh's life on the Internet, his misery/magic ratio is probably severely weighted toward the latter.
Here's what you should know about Hugh:
1) He's preposterously rich. Hugh-whose actual title is Earl Grosvenor-is the only son of Gerald Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, who is the richest man in Britain. This means Hugh will one day inherit his estate (which includes 100 acres of Mayfair and 200 acres of Belgravia, twoRead More »from Hugh Grosvenor: Meet the 22-Year-Old, Absurdly Rich Godparent to Prince George

Prince George and Duchess KateTo the small, intimate royal christening ceremony for Prince George-only 22 (per the Telegraph) of Will and Kate's inner circle were in attendance-the Duchess of Cambridge once again chose Alexander McQueen. In a bespoke, cream-colored short two-piece with a cascading ruffle-placket, Kate wore an adaptation of a coat dress previously seen among spring-summer 2012 McQueen collections, and seemed to have coordinated the color with other key members of the royal family: Camilla and Pippa Middleton were likewise in pale colors, while Carole Middleton, expectant mom and godmother Zara Phillips, and Queen Elizabeth wore varying shades of blue.
Kate style-watchers on Twitter surmised her fascinator as a creation of favored milliner Jane Corbett. However the designer tells VF Daily that her only piece at the christening was Carole Middleton's "soft grey hat, straw trimmed with matching silk satin and vintage lace." The iPad Air, now fat-shaming tablets everywhere. At Apple's special event today in San Francisco, World's Second Best C.E.O. Tim Cook corralled his loafer-clad team to announce a slew of new products, most notably the iPad Air. In line with Apple's habit of obsessively shrinking and lightening its devices, the tablet has shrunk to just one pound-making it the "lightest full-size tablet in the world," according to company marketing chief Phil Schiller.
The iPad Air shames its predecessors in a new way, as noted by Apple, which fat-shamed the hefty iPad 4 next to the new product onscreen. It's 7.5 millimeters thin, which is 20 percent thinner than the iPad, with a bezel that's 43 percent smaller, making it "nearly invisible." Schiller also called the item "screaming fast," as it contains an A7 chip and multiple antennas, not to mention a five-megapixel iSight camera and dual microphones.
The iPad Air, much like North West, is still opting for muted colors-just your same old white, silver, black, and space gray. It'll

Kanye West proposed to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who plays the role of "Kim Kardashian" on E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, in a quaint bayside ceremony in the windswept California hamlet of San Francisco, hometown of neither person. Surrounded by friends, family, hairdressers, a 50-piece orchestra, typos, Jaden Smith, and 41,000 empty chairs, West asked Kardashian to do him the honor of solidifying their blessed union in the eyes of the law and God. She was like, "Totes!"
Fan(s) of Kardashian and West who want to recreate this magical night for their own proposals should be warned that West's budget appears to have been significant. Some "ballpark figures," if you will, which you will not, because a "ballpark figure" is $200,000:
$200,000: as we said, it is the rental fee for AT&T Park.
$5,000: 50-person orchestra at a rate of $100-per-musician per-hour (per livemusicforhire.com).

Young Prince George's christening, as of 10 a.m E.D.T., is now underway! All the prominent royals have made their way into St. James' Palace for a ceremony that will last approximately 45 minutes-and, predictably, everyone looks immaculate. Kate and Pippa Middleton both are sporting pale-colored dresses with pert little fascinators, and Duchess Kate's features a long ruffle down the front. The Queen arrived in a periwinkle ensemble and characteristic matching hat; Carol Middleton in navy. Baby George, in William's arms, was-as we knew he would be-outfitted in the replica of a vintage christening gown.
