5 things I actually worried about (that I wish I hadn't)My husband likes to tease me about my worry wart tendencies, and I always reply with a simple statement; "I worry because I care." I think nothing could be more true when it comes to motherhood and wanting to do the best you can at the most important job you'll ever have. But now that I've been doing this parenting thing for 8 years, I look back and realize that there were some things I worried about so much, and wasted so much energy on that if I could go back in time and change things, I would definitely worry less. Thinking back to my first year as a new mom, here are the top 5 things I worried about the most, and wish I hadn't, because when it comes to these subjects, it all worked out in the end.

The most common question I get from other moms about all 3 of my babies was and is, "how is (s)he sleeping?" From the beginning I put so much pressure on myself to establish a sleep routine, and get my baby to sleep through the night that I missed7 Ways to Take Your Child's Dresser from Ho-hum to Showstopping

I'm pregnant...now what?!It's an exciting announcement no matter when in your pregnancy you make it! But even just finding out for yourself can bring on anxiety and an overwhelming feeling of not knowing what to do first or where to start! Here are 10 things I think every woman should do when she finds out she's pregnant, based on my own (somewhat comical) experience…

Either creative or slightly panicked, this is a good first step. HA!
9. Start better habits now. Throw out the cigarettes and the coffee beans and any un-pasturized cheeses or juices because for 9 months your body is a temple ofBorn to Be Wild! 10 Adventurous Baby Names for Boys

By Disney Baby | At Home – Mon, Apr 22, 2013 2:52 PM EDTWhen I found out I was pregnant for the first time, creating a eco-chic nursery wasn't on the forefront of my mind. But slowly, as the years have passed and my philosophies on both design (I'm an interior designer by higher education) and life changed, both my style and desire to live a more waste-less clean life has increased. So as time has crawled by, my husband and I have started taking baby steps to "green-up" the nursery a bit. Little by little, tiny changes for the better have taken place. And while we still have a ways to go, I think it's shaping up nicely. By Emily Elling
