At this point, we feel like we could teach a master class in lazy-girl beauty. But, the truth is, as much as fun as primping can be, we all want to find ways to spend minimal effort to get the prettiest results. Taking your time getting ready on a Saturday is awesome, but on any given Tuesday, there's no way we're spending an hour with a curling wand or face-contouring kit. Hey, we're lucky if we make it to our first meeting of the day in one piece!
Enter: the overnight beauty routine. If you think strategically about your nighttime primpers, you can wake up with half of the work done for you. Seriously. Ditch that clumsy morning body scrub for smoothing peel pads, place a couple of key foam rollers in your locks, and damn, girl - you will have taken the path of least resistance to hotness.

Frankly, we don't even want to use the P-word to describe Robyn Lawley's latest swimsuit editorial for Cosmo Australia. It's not that plus-size is a dirty word - far from it - but we're afraid that would make this whole editorial all about her measurements, and honestly, there's much more to it. Yes, the Australian model may wear a label with a double-digit number, but, in these photos, we're far less concerned with that than how amazing she looks in these suits.
Clad in one- and two-pieces alike, Lawley is practically flawless in the shots from the magazine's December issue. But, what's even more refreshing than her beachside photos and sun-kissed glow - summer, where art thou? - is the image of a lady who's not the cookie-cutter replica of most other fashion-editorial stars or swimsuit models. In fact, we think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who could claim that Lawley not only looks beautiful, but also healthy. And, let's face it: She is aRead More »from Why Robyn Lawley's Cosmo Australia Swim Shoot is Important

When we allow it, attracting more love into our life can actually be quite easy. Love is our true nature and and what connects us to one another. We're each a unique expression of love and each of us is perfect in our unique expression. Love isn't something to "figure out," "make sense of," or "make happen." When we try to figure it out, we end up feeling more confused.

Steps to Attracting More Love
The secret to attracting more love is to become a more loving person, which begins with loving yourself more.
The next step is to acknowledge that we're meant to love everyone. We simply express our love in different ways depending on the nature of the relationship (romantic versus non-romantic). Many of us have been raised to believe that we're meant to love one person at a time or have one soulmate. These beliefs create tremendous pressure in our romantic relationships and keep us fromRead More »from How to Attract More Love into Your Life

When Samuel Johnson declared, "He who is bored of London is bored of life," we're pretty sure he'd just been on a double date to play UV ping-pong in W10. Yesterday's news that the Food and Drug Administration plans to ban trans fats was a big deal around the R29 offices. Lower risk of heart disease? Sign us up. But, a lot of us were wondering nervously about which of our favorite indulgences might be affected. Remember, the FDA is moving to end the use of partially hydrogenated oils - the prime source of trans fat - not trans fat itself. Since companies aren't currently obligated to report trans fat content if it's below one gram per serving - regardless of how big that serving is - banning those oils would prevent companies from sneaking in any trans fats at all into our favorite foods.Read More »from 8 Surprising Trans-Fatty Foods
We did some sleuthing to round up some of the more surprising trans fat offenders. Now, these products likely aren't going to be taken off the shelves - but the companies that manufacture them will need to reformulate the ingredients to no longer contain partially hydrogenated oils. UPDATE: Looks like those rumors weren't just rumors: Urban Decay has released a video on their Facebook page teasing that the Naked 3 palette is indeed happening. There's not a lot of details in the video, other than to conifrm "it's coming," but if you look closely at the text of the Naked 3 painted on the wall, it matches the supposedly leaked photos we found on Reddit of the palette. Study those pictures carefully kids, because it looks like there's a chance they are indeed the colors of the new Naked. We'll keep you posted as we get more info.
We've been Urban Decay junkies for over 10 years now and have no interest in heading to rehab - even if the product hoarding is causing a major dent in our savings account. Can you blame us? The highly pigmented formulas? Those completely covetable Naked palettes? This love is REAL.
However, after poking around on Reddit last night, we areRead More »from Naked 3 is Coming, Urban Decay Confirms

"Listen to Saturday morning opera and waltz around your kitchen with a mimosa. While wearing a whisper-thin silk chemise." - Chloe Daley, on-staff DIY guru
At a recent party, a good friend turned to me abruptly. "Are you by chance missing a skirt slip?" My eyes widened. "I found one wedged in the couch cushions the other day." My heart beat faster.
Since she does not own a cream, above-the-knee slip, there were only two possible explanations: a) her husband was having an affair with the 80-year-old next door neighbor, or b) while dog-sitting a few weeks prior, Chloe had one too many glasses of wine and fell asleep on the couch, after removing the said unmentionable.
I sheepishly admitted it was something of the latter.
The truth was, I'd been seriously distraught over that missing slip! It was the perfect length, excellent elasticity, and ideal off-white. Which brings me to my full confession: I've been carrying on a longtime affair with vintageRead More »from Why Don't More Girls Wear Slips?

Another day, another ridiculous weight-loss fad. And, this time, it's not a diet. It's a scent. We think it's fair to say that everyone likes to smell good, right? Wrong. A bizarre new product aims to deter would-be-overeaters with a pungent spray that claims to put you off your food. The catch? It smells so bad no one will want to come near you, either. Yes, Stink Yourself Slim has such a strong stench, it comes with a warning not to use it in public.

The spray is the brainchild of London entrepreneur Alex Fontaine, who discovered a foul smell was the only way she could curb her constant chocolate cravings. So, Stink Yourself Slim was (air)born. In an interview with The Daily Mail, Fontaine explains, "Every time I felt tempted by 'bad' foods, I had a sniff. It was a bit like getting an electric shock when you open the fridge door. The revulsion gave me that extra push to say no." Daily Mail

As much as we'd like to believe in the healing properties of our mothers' chicken soup recipes and the vitamins that we feverishly pop at the first signs of a cold, studies show again and again that the only "cure" is time and rest. That being said, we could all use a little extra pampering when cold season rolls around - which is why we're digging these picks from natural-beauty heroes Kiss My Face.
While, yes, we understand that colds and flus are caused by viruses, not bacteria, it still makes us feel better about life to use purifying products when we're feeling under the weather, and this moisturizing hand soap with tea-tree oil totally delivers (without drying out our sad, cold winter hands). We'll be stocking extra bottles this season, along with its perfect mate, the Cold & Flu Shower Gel, which includes sinus-clearing eucalyptus (and circulation-improving fennel extract for when you get the chills).Read More »from Can These Beauty Products Kick Your Cold to the Curb?
