Lebron James After a whopping 12 years together (and two years being engaged), basketball superstar LeBron James and Savannah Brinson tied the knot at the Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego. According to Us Weekly, the celebration had approximately 200 guests, including fellow Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union. The young couple didn't take any chances when it came to privacy at the ceremony: The Miami Herald reported on a rumor that guests couldn't bring their cell phones to the ceremony.

The big surprise at the nuptials (drum roll!) was a special performance by none other than Beyonce and Jay-Z , who flew in that day for the wedding and reportedly performed "Crazy in Love" at the reception. LeBron apparently had to narrow down the list because he "didn't want to have 1,000 people at the wedding" a source told the New York Post.

Jimmy Kimmel Show As we've already discussed at length this week, people who work in fashion seem to be kind of over New York Fashion Week. From the New York Times analyzing insiders' increasing malaise with the bi-annual event, to designers like Oscar de la Renta closing their shows off to celebs and bloggers, there seems to be a perception that the week has become populated with people who, well, just don't know fashion.

And now, talk show host and funnyman Jimmy Kimmel has given us a piece of brilliant, hilarious proof that this is precisely the case. For the latest edition of his "Lie Witness News," Kimmel and his team stalked show-goers outside the Lincoln Center tents to ask them what they think of designers like "Purina Chow," "George Costanza," and "Willy Loman." As you might already expect, the results are amazing.

Kim Kardashian We guess Kris Humphries has finally moved on from his acrimonious split with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who notoriously filed for divorce after a whopping 72 days of marriage. The 28-year-old NBA star is auctioning off a major piece of jewelry he once gave his blushing bride: Her massive 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond engagement ring (see above).

According to Us Weekly, the ring is on the docket for the October 15 sale at Christie's auction house in New York. It obviously does not explicitly state who the owner is, but Christie's confirmed that a custom Lorraine Schwartz ring featuring a 16.21-carat center stone and two 1.80-carat stones on the side is indeed for sale.

Rihanna Rihanna and Justin Bieber attended Opening Ceremony's Spring 2014 show, while Kanye West was front and center at Hood By Air, and Nicki Minaj caused a media frenzy for sitting next to none other than Anna Wintour at Carolina Herrera. Though we're pretty certain the publicists at these brands are patting themselves on the back for filling the front row with such top-brass names, an article published yesterday in the Associated Press points out how someNew York Fashion Week designers are deliberately eschewing celebrities this season.

Miley Cyrus One of pop culture's most divisive issues today is without a doubt Miley Cyrus' twerking. The 20-year-old former Disney star's penchant for lascivious dance moves has been praised by high-profile folks like Jay Z, but not everybody is pleased with Cyrus' behavior-and apparently, she's seriously pissed off at someone in particular: powerful editrix Anna Wintour.

According to The Daily Mail, noted fashion fan Cyrus was lensed for the upcoming December issue of Vogue, but after Wintour caught wind of her controversial performance at the MTV VMAs with Robin Thicke, she killed the story. In case you need a refresher, Cyrus took the stage at the August 25 event in New York to duet on Thicke's smash single "Blurred Lines." Sadly, their vocals were overshadowed by Cyrus grinding on the 36-year-old married father's genital area.

Bling Off It looks like Scarlett Johansson has officially found love again! The 28-year-old actress is engaged to her French journalist boyfriend Romain Dauriac, who she has been dating for about ten months. The rumors that ScarJo is set to walk down the aisle again started earlier this week, when she appeared at the Venice Film Festival showing off a serious sparkler. This is the second marriage for the bombshell, who was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010. As we all know, Reynolds moved on slightly faster, tying the knot to Blake Lively in a secret wedding exactly one year ago, almost to the day.

With New York Fashion Week only (gasp!) one day away, the games have pretty much already begun. Breakfasts, launches, and other events are in full swing, and, of course, the designers and their teams are preparing to unveil their Spring 2014 collections to the world.
A surprising amount of work goes into getting a 15-minute runway show ready. Designer Ann Yee, who debuts her show today, gave StyleCaster an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the creation of her show "Resurgence," which takes inspiration from the deteriorating state of her home city: Detroit.
"Resurgence focuses on the rise and fall of the city, what it represented to America in its hay day: Motown, the auto industry, and how inevitably it will come back around," Yee tells StyleCaster.
