The beauty brand announced plans two years ago to launch a pill that prevents oxidation stress (the process that causes hair color to fade in the first place) through the use of a fruit extract. The company revealed that this undisclosed fruit extract will mimic the chemical tyrosinase-related protein (or TP-2), which is an enzyme that protects pigmentation production.

According to NYMag.com, the formula will contain an organic chemical compound called putrescine, which gives things like decaying fish, semen and bad breath its distinct foul odor.
But, much like any type of cosmetic promise, there's a catch: if your hair is already starting to gray, don't expect this to work. It must be taken at least 10 years
