Even though it isn't very winter like down here, having smooth and moisturized skin is very important because we're showing it one way or another all year round. I'm always looking for a skin care product that not only moisturizes, but keeps that moisture all day long whether it's a great body wash or lotion. So our beauty guru assignment this month was on point, reviewing the Daily Moisture Shea and Calming Lavender Jasmine Lotion from Lubriderm. It has great skin ingredients such as Shea Butter and Vitamin B5 to help keep skin moisturized for up to 24 hours. The lavender and jasmine fragrance is there to help you relax.

As my schedule gets crazier and crazier I find my beauty routine getting a lot simpler these days. When I first started blogging I was wearing a different combo of eyeshadow everyday and now...well...it's more reserved for special occasions. Instead, I've been going for a simple liner, mascara, and a neutral cream shadow. So when Neutrogena reached out and asked me to review their eyeliner, mascara, and lip balm, it couldn't be more timely! The holidays were crazy and the first week of the year was crazier so I hoped these products could help me look put together (even while struggling to get it together!)

One thing that I've become since going natural is really paranoid about what goes in my hair. I've spent over a year treating my hair with kid gloves while growing out the relaxer. Now that's it's au naturale, my curls are very picky and, after learning the hard way, there are certain products my hair does not like, such as those that contain too many harsh chemicals, alcohol, sulfates, and petroleum. What it loves is anything that will not only give it the moisture it needs but help keep it there, even in a shampoo. That's the concept behind Infusium 23's Moisture Replenisher line and I had the opportunity to review the shampoo. It isn't the sulfate free type of cleanser I normally use but it promises to nourish my hair while getting clean and free of build up. I also heard great things about their leave in conditioner from the natural hair community so I gave a try and I've been using it for a few weeks now.

I admit, when it comes to clothes I am not an impulse shopper. As a matter of fact, I kind of prefer to shop alone because I can spend hours going from store to store only to come out with a few items. I guess I have this fear of buyers remorse - I don't want to get something only to hate it once I get home. If you were to open up my purse right now, you would find at least a handful of glosses and lip balms.
