    • A Great Fall Moisturizer: Brighter by Nature from Origins

Summer is long gone and I've already put up the tinted moisturizer, switched to foundation, and picked up some fall friendly eyeshadow colors. Though the season calls for cooler weather it still calls for protecting my skin from the UV/UVB rays that still lurk in the autumn sunshine! Well Brighter by Nature by Origins came just in time! This moisturizer is armed with SPF 35 as well as a skin tone correcting formula. It's natural ingredients have been clinically proven to fade existing spots and prevent new ones. Though I'm fortunate enough to say that I don't have a skin discoloration problem, I do need a moisturizer with sunscreen.

I've been using it for a few weeks and I must say that I really like it! I use it right after cleansing, letting it set into my skin for a moment before applying my liquid foundation. The cream itself is very light and has a very pleasant fragrance to it. I like the fact that it's oil free so it doesn't leave my face greasy after

    • Daisy Pop Art and Lola Velvet from Marc Jacobs

Seems like Mr. Marc Jacobs is on a role when it comes to fragrances! After launching Bang, a fragrance for men this summer, he is now giving a new twist to the old favorites for the Fall! Daisy Pop art and Lola Velvet are two new smell goods to help get us ladies into the autumn spirit! I had the opportunity to get a whiff of both fragrances and here are the verdicts!

Daisy Pop Art (100 ML e 3.4 fl oz, $88)

Housed in a remixed version of the original bottle, which is a rich red with black and gold daisies), is a richer smelling version of the Daisy original, with notes of wild strawberry, a blend of gardenia and jasmine, birch, and cedarwood. Unlike my experience with the original, I was able to appreciate this fragrance a lot more. It's really light and fresh and perfect for the girl who likes dainty perfumes. I like wearing it work, for the scent isn't overbearing and I still feel like I have something on! The bottle is also cool and funky, which makes it great to

    • Good to KNOW! A Review of KNOW Hair and Body Products

Today's Beauty Blast is all about getting in the KNOW ( I'm sorry I couldn't resist the pun!) KNOW! Hair and Body products (all $18) are the brain children of celebrity hairdressers Scott Bond and George Willman. After working in NYC salons, they wanted to come out with a line of products that not only provides the luxury quality of high end salon products but is free from many of the chemicals that can prove toxic to our hair and skin . The Daily Shampoo, Everyday Conditioner, and Body Wash don't contain any sulfates, silicones, Phthalates, Petrochemicals, Glycols, PEGs, DEAs, TEAs, formaldehyde, parabens, synthetic colors or fragrance. I honestly haven't really dabbled too much in green friendly beauty products (and when I have I was left a little disappointed). So let's see how these products hold up!

      Daily Shampoo:

With a formula designed for all hair types, this product claims to gently cleanse hair while maximizing texture, shine, and manageability. Some of

    • User post: How to Find The Perfect Foundation For Your Skin Type

Finding the perfect foundation can be like finding the perfect pair a jeans - a lot of trial and error! But fear not because the key to the perfect foundation is to know the type of skin you have. Once you have that information, you can follow these tips for picking the right foundation from Paula Begoun, the skin care expert you helped those who were acne prone in a previous post!

For Extremely Dry or Wrinkled Skin
Women who need medium to full coverage and are looking for moisturizing texture should try an oil-based foundation. The emollient in the ingredients helps the skin look very dewy and moist, which can minimize the appearance of wrinkles and give the skin a healthy glow.
Products Worth Trying: Clinique Supermoisture Makeup ($23) and Dior DiorSkin Ecalt Satin ($42).

      For Dull or Dry Skin
Following the latest makeup trends that boasts a shimmer and glow to your overall look, try foundations with shine. These products provide a subtle glow and are best

    • Fort Lauderdale Beach Spa Trip: Bliss Spa at the W Fort Lauderdale

September has been all about spa and spa treatments and for my latest review, I went on down to Fort Lauderdale Beach to the W Fort Lauderdale, which sits right across the street from the shore. Two weeks ago all of those hurricanes were chilling in the Atlantic so they waves weren't as friendly as the normally are and the sudden whips of wind totally killed my hair! But enough about that! On to the review!

On the third floor of these ultra modern hotel taking up more than 4,000 square feet is the Bliss Spa. You may be very familiar with Bliss because not only do they have spas all over the country, they also sell their spa goodies online . (I snatched up a few myself, which I will review later!) I first walked into their Bliss Spa boutique to check in and then I was taken to the women's locker room and lounge. It wasn't your typical locker room, taking its cue from the contemporary hotel it's housed in. It didn't take long for me to get into those terry robes and slippers

If you didn't already know, I'm a New Yorker living in sunny South Florida and since living here, I've had to seriously change up my hair routine. Where in NYC I could get away with hot pressing my hair, I had to start using mild relaxers once I landed here. Living in a place where the beach is only minutes away, there are extra things you have to protect your hair from, such as year round humidity, constant sunsine, and salt from the ocean floating around in the air. To help out those ladies who have to combat these environmental factors all year round is Bridget Hill, the owner of the hair salon Bond Street. She's been featured in mags such as ELLE, Marie Claire, Essence, and Real Simple. Now with her salon down here in Delray Beach Florida, she knows a thing or too when it comes to having great hair in beach/coastal environment.

    • Tuesday Top Five: Eyeshadow Color Combos

Eyeshadow has easily become one of my favorite types of makeup products (as evidenced by my overflowing makeup bag!). Playing up my eyes is something that I almost always do and it's a ton a fun to experiment with different colors, liners, and color combinations! If you remember my video on Yahoo!
