So exciting what is happening outside right now! The birds are chirping and building nests. Flowers are waking up from their long winter sleep. The breezy air feels warm on your skin and toes can be exposed without the threat of frostbite! Yay! My favorite time of year has arrived!
Unfortunately, all of that cold weather and boredom from being locked inside for months has taken a hit on the ole bank account. I picked this color up the other day from my local drugstore. My husband told me I needed to watch my spending. "What, I can't get my monthly pedicure", I asked. He responded with a look that warned, not this time. I hate when I use my bank card too much, don't you? So, armed with the knowledge I was under wallet arrest, instead of chatting it up with my manicurist this month I retreated to my old school ways--- I painted my own toes. I'm not an expert at all but they turned out all right, I think.

If you are on wallet arrest like me, check out Wet n Wild's new color,

Review: Softsoap Body Butter Strawberry Smoother Body Smoothing Wash

Really though, the newest scent from Softsoap is a gift from the Strawberry gods. Pop open the top and breathe it in. This must be what Strawberry Shortcake gets dipped in before she is packaged and shipped out to your local retailer, waiting for someone to buy her red-haired self and take her home.
The packaging is ergonomic to allow a slippery wet hand to firmly grasp it while in the shower. Squeeze on a puff and lather onto your skin to achieve the best results. With strawberry and jojoba butter extracts to help retain moisture in your skin while bathing you will be certain Softsoap had your skin in mind when developing this body wash. Small beads of apricot seeds rub away dry spots on your skin and the fragrance smells good enough to eat.
I enjoyed this product immensely and you will too. With a budget conscious mind, you will be surprised you can have a high end beauty product feel forUser post: Apple's Picks for Spring!

Even though she snagged a front row seat at Louis Vuitton's 2011 Fall/ Winter show, I am unclear if Emma Stone grabbed an old bedspread to cover up with because she is cold? What do you think of Emma's look?
I'm loving her berry nail polish and the boots could look cute with a paint of black tights but not so sure about pairing it with this dress.User Post: Parenting I don't understand - Suri Cruise Still Takes a Pacifier
By Leigh Ann Fisher | Parenting – Mon, Mar 7, 2011 4:17 PM EST
Cutie Suri Cruise, 4, and mom Katie Holmes enjoyed a hamburger outing this past weekend in Vancouver, Canada where dad Tom Cruise is busy filming scenes for the upcoming Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol.
After eating it seems Suri needed her pacifier. We have seen Suri drinking from a bottle way after pediatricians suggest doing but a four year old with a pacifier?
Say it isn't so!

It is quite funny when you become a parent because all the proclamations you yelled at your parents on how you would never do that to your kid creep into your life. Like when you tell your parents your kids will not have a bedtime. How quickly you eat those words. How about when you say your kid will never have to make their bed? It creeps up slowly but soon an unmade bed become one of the ugliest sights you lay your eyes on.
Somethings your parents did to you, you promise you will never do to your child. My mother would drag me into bars every now and then when I was in my teens. This wasn't a late night thing where she was partying down and I became the designated driver but it was something I hated. While her friends and her gossiped over cocktails and a band raged in my ear, I swore I would never be that mom. When she looks back on what she did, she apologizes. A friend of mine says her parents would smoke around her as a kid. She vowed she would never do that to her child andUser Post: My baby is turning 13! Help me make it one she won't forget!

ldest daughter will be turning 13 in a couple of months! I cannot believe she is going to be a teenager. She has been prepping her father and I for some time on how teenage life will be. She loves to slam her door when she is angry; she loves to look at the ceiling when she is annoyed and she recently found out what a real grounding is all about.
Even with all of these trials she brings, I want to give her an awesome "Welcome into Your Teens" party. Granted I will not be spending thousands of dollars like some people seem to do for their kids, I want it to be special. So I am asking you guy's suggestions.
What did you do for your child's 13 birthday party? Decorations, food, music, etc...
I want to know. Please help!!Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Extreme is just that for me: Extreme

To much of a good thing. When using mascara, I'm fond of the applicators that have small, short bristles on the wand. I have found using this type of applicator, my lashes don't clump as much and the wand doesn't hold as much liquid to splash around my eyes. You can really get in there and apply the mascara where you want. Not so much with this big, chunky applicator Estee Lauder provides. I had goop all over my face. Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara does not have the applicator I love.
Mascara has never smelled very good to me but my daughter was looking at the product and caught a whiff of it; She gagged. It does not smell environmentally friendly at all. When applying the product, I have to hold my breath. With this in mind, it doesn't help with my decision to repurchase the product.
The product itself stays on for a long time and does make my eyelashes look longer but no more than my usual mascara (Cover Girl's Volume Exact). Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Extreme

If you have one, you know they think they know everything. The attitude of "all knowledge" begins abruptly. So quickly in fact, you don't realize it has struck. But then the eye rolls start and the "What the heck?" questions begin, soon to be followed by doors slammed in disgust. All the while, you as a parent ask yourself, "Where did my sweet child go?"
They may think they know everything but you know they don't. Isn't it funny how quickly you think you know how the world works and at some point later after your world has been turned upside down multiple times throughout the college years and then into your mid to late twenties, you thank God you don't know everything?
The other night, my daughter was having a friend spend the night. As I passed the room the girls where gossiping in, I noticed they were passing lip gloss to each other. I stopped in my tracks. They have no idea this is a way herpes can be passed, I thought. No idea that a simple sharing of a tube of lip gloss canPicking Out Your Engagement Ring Before You are Engaged? Jennifer Love Hewitt Has!

She may not be engaged yet, but Jennifer Love Hewitt is making it easy for her lucky guy when he does ask her. She has picked out three rings, just in case.
"I actually have three because I feel like I am doing the guy a favor." She explains to Ellen on her Tuesday appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show. "Women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we're not very good at nailing it down for them. I feel like I don't want to be upset if he picks a bad ring." [ UsMagazine ]
Hewitt hasn't been married yet. Her engagement to Ross McCall was called off in 2008. With public love affairs with bad boy John Mayer, MTV host Carson Daly and Scream actor Jamie Kennedy, it seems Jennifer Love Hewitt is never far from her next love. She is now dating Alex Beh and it seems she has high hopes for this one!
Hopefully her dreams of becoming some one's wife happens soon. If not for her, for us.
Did you pick out your engagement ring before you were engaged?
