I could tell by the multiple helicopters hovering above me earlier this evening that the royals had descended on Hancock Park, Los Angeles. The couple is being hosted by Consul-General Barbara Hay during their stay. On Saturday evening they'll get a taste of Hollywood at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts "Brits to Watch" event where they'll also rub elbows with Hollywood royalty like Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez. The Duchess who's kept a very simple and fuss-free wardrobe since starting her North American tour kept her most recent outfit simple, elegant and chic in a lavender dress by Roksanda Ilincic while the Duke looked dapper in a navy blue suit.
