Sarah Jessica Parker is feathered and dyed at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in NYCThe Spring 2012 runway presentations brought quite a number of whimsical looks - most notably at Louis Vuitton but as we all know, most runway looks don't always translate well off the runway. Sarah Jessica Parker who's a fan of a bit of whimsy herself, recently took one of the gorgeous ensembles from Vuitton out for a spin, attending the UNICEF snowflake ball in a feathered and dyed skirt and blouse combo. Model, Magda Laguinge strutted the look down the runway a few months ago, complete with a monogrammed Vuitton umbrella. 2011 was no doubt a very stylish year in fashion. It was filled with trips taken back in time for style inspiration. In just a few seasons, we visited the 50s, 60s, 70s and even the 80s, taking the best from each era. As we moved through the year, we borrowed from the boys and added a feminine twist, relaxed in colored denim, glittered and sparkled in sequins, went edgy in leather and color blocked ensembles; wild in animal print, ethereal in white, ladylike in peplum and full skirts, popped in gorgeous and shocking color; we went crazy for polka dots and floral print, stayed casual cool in stripes and so much more. Take a trip down memory lane with us as we relive this past year's most stylish and fashionable looks and trends.
