Source: Silver Belle: How to Amp Up Your Hair Color For the Holidays
If you want to step out of the ordinary for the holidays, look to Kelly Osbourne for inspiration. The star paired her lavender and silver hair with a pretty makeup look that featured peach lips, a hue that directly complemented her colored strands. While many of us are not as committed to silvery-purple hair like Kelly, you can play with a less permanent option, such as Splat Color Chalk in Violet Sky or Silver Moon ($6 each), to achieve the style. Yes, the chalking trend may be on its way out, but a subtle touch of it will read more convivial than kitschy.
Next, sweep your hair back into a low ponytail and bring the ends over one shoulder. Finish off your makeup with winged liquid liner, a little peach on your cheeks, and a pretty peach lipstick, such as MAC Cremesheen + Pearl Lipstick in Coral Bliss ($15). If you're playing with color, keep your outfit simple; Kelly opted for a fresh Winter white.

There are two totally necessary (or at least I feel are necessary) beauty products I apply everyday: mascara and perfume. But perfume is one of those things that disappears after a few hours. So, when my editor Rachel tweeted "I know my skin is DRY but like why do I use SO MUCH PERFUME and then it just goes away??????", I obvs had to investigate.Read More »from Make Your Perfume Last Longer

So, yes, Rachel-dry skin is a major reason perfume can evaporate. (Also, that bottle over to the left? That's from your fave store, F21.) But let's back up.

Since perfume has an alcohol base, it evaporates quickly and leaves just the fragrance on your skin. But, the oils your skin naturally secretes helps fragrance stay, those with dryness find themselves losing their scent faster than those with slick skin. So, if you're super dry, drep with an unscented lotion (or better yet, a matching lotion) and you'll boost how long your

Happy holidays, my friends! Have you finished all your shopping yet? Yes? Then you can stop reading now. No? OK, let's talk. Girls Collection If you're a girl who has ever questioned your career choices, your love life or even yourself (so basically, if you're living and breathing) you've most likely watched HBO's latest hit, GIRLS, and had it hit home for you. While the show's witty humor and relatable characters are all we really need in our lives (and the January 13 countdown to it's second season couldn't come soon enough) we were thrilled to hear that the show teamed up with Deborah Lippmann on a nail line.
Combining some of our favorite things is always a win in our book, and the polish collection will feature four shades (representing the show's four main characters) to match their personalities. Hannah is described as a "Hapless Hunter Green," Marnie is a "Prim and Proper Pink," Shoshanna a "Virtuous Vivid Violet" and Jessa a "Bohemian Burgundy."
The limited-edition collection is set to be released in January, but you can pre-order it on Deborah Lippmann's site.

If you've got more than a few hairs, see your doctor. Polycystic ovarian syndrome, a disorder characterized by high levels of male hormones, or an adrenal gland problem could be to blame, says Doris J. If you're moderately hairy (meaning you tidy your brows or upper lip monthly), there's not much you can do to escape genetics.
