makeupAll this talk about tanning mom has got me thinking about beauty products. Let's put aside whether or not Patricia Krentcil let her child tan with her for a moment and focus on the mom. She seems to have a distorted view of what looks good on her because she is a little too tan, with way too much bronzer. But I get where she is. I do. I once had a high hair issue back in the 80s/early 90s and if my hair was flat I thought I looked terrible. That wasn't true -- in fact the opposite was true. But we've all been there -- thinking something looked good that really didn't. Over-doing it.

Since I know that more than a few of you out there loves you some body art, I couldn't resist showing you this photo.

My family went to Walt Disney World several weeks ago and at Magic Kingdom, we spotted Snow White.

But it appeared that Disney's oldest princess had gotten a new look in order to stay current with the times.

The Treatment: Brow Shaping

Grow them out. Don't wax or tweeze for three to four weeks before having your brows shaped. This gives you (or your esthetician) more hairs to work with, so you'll be sure to get the best possible brow shape and won't be dealing with pesky stragglers in a week.

Exfoliate. Use a gentle exfoliating cleanser on the brow area to remove dead skin cells. They may be holding back small hairs, which could then be missed during waxing or tweezing-leading them to pop out soon afterward.

Downplay regrowth. Fill in your eyebrows with a brow pencil, which will give them more definition and draw attention away from stray hairs that are growing back. One to try: Maybelline New York Eye Studio Master Shape Brow

I admit, when it comes to my photos, I'm pretty much a master at editing. I won't put a photo up on Facebook unless it's been cropped, colored, or tweaked in some way to make me look ah-mazing.
