Taking a bath is mind-numblingly relaxing, but it's sort of a rare luxury. Especially for twenty-somethings. Especially in New York. Most of us live with multiple roommates that we don't even want to think about sharing a tub with-if there even is a bathtub. And taking a bath requires more time than a shower-who has that? When I moved into my own apartment-all 200 square feet of it-it was one of the things I was most looking forward to, despite the fact that I'd never taken a leisurely bath before in my life (that last one I could remember was when I was a child and baths existed only to get clean). Now I've got it down to a blood-pressure-dropping science-and this formula relaxes me more than a massage, acupuncture, or glass of Malbec:

6 Tips for Taking the Most Relaxing Bath Ever
By Lucky Magazine | Beauty on Shine – Wed, Mar 21, 2012 9:43 AM EDTWhile I love my long hair, I've always been secretly jealous of girls with super short cuts, like Michelle Williams or Emma Watson. To me, short hair is edgy, hip, and super stylish. And I thought everyone thought so too; After all, most of my girlfriends gush about Ginnifer Goodwin's newest crop or Ashlee Simpson's '20s-style hair. Then, I had a conversation with some guys at work …
Apparently, many guys don't like short hair. To get to the bottom of this, I marched down to our office's parking lot during lunchtime, clutching a picture of Michelle Williams with short and long hair (see images on the left). A slew of guys were standing around the food trucks waiting to order. "Which do you like better?" I asked as I made my way around the lot. You don't have to be a mind reader to guess which one won. "She looks like a dude" was the most frequent comment as to why long hair was winning.

When Clueless debuted in theaters in 1995, I went to see it five times. Five times! I've re-watched it a countless number more since then, and it never gets old. Needless to say, when I read earlier this week that Topshop debuted a Clueless-inspired lipstick, I just had to investigate.
A matte chubby lip pencil, Topshop's Listick in Clueless retails for $15. The perfect bright shade of bubblegum pink, it's the sort of ultra-girly color that Cher, Dionne, or Tai would have kept stashed in their handbags.
After Googling to find out the deets on this hot new lip color, I unsurprisingly got sucked into a trip down memory lane. I started looking at old stills from the film and quickly came across several sites that publish memorable movie quotes. If you're a Clueless fanatic like me, these will definitely bring a smile to your face:

By The chicks at TotalBeauty.com | Beauty on Shine – Tue, Mar 20, 2012 7:19 PM EDTIf you took a look at my Pinterest boards, you wouldn't see recipes for cake pops or DIY wax seals. No, you'd see pins of gorgeous, wild makeup: pictures of shockingly pink lips, dramatic smoky eyes, and bright rosy cheeks. All of the colors are so bold, so fresh, so … not anything I ever wear. Ever.
Why? Because I've logged enough hours in Sephora, trying and re-trying samples of all my dream makeup colors, to know that the shades that look amazing on the models in magazines do not look amazing on me. I may dream of Technicolor makeup, but I always end up with the same, basic, safe palette.

By Daily Makeover | Beauty on Shine – Tue, Mar 20, 2012 4:08 PM EDTWe know the bold brow is a hot trend this season but we never thought people would go to such lengths as plastic surgery to get the latest beauty craze.
There is a new surgery called uGraft Restoration Procedure that is gaining popularity. The $6,000 to $8,000 procedure involves transplanting hair from the nape of the neck or leg to the brows. This hair has the same texture and growth cycle as the eyebrows, making them blend naturally. The process that takes up to four hours because hundreds of hairs have to be added individually.

Have you been told that you shouldn't eat chocolate because it causes acne? Or how about French fries? Pizza?
Wrong! That's just a myth, and while some foods can make acne worse for some people, researchers have found that it does not cause it!
There is recent work from Australia that suggests that high carbohydrate foods may in some people flare their acne. The theory is that chronic consumption of high carbs stimulates the excessive production of insulin so that eventually more and more insulin is needed to assist glucose into cells.
This is called insulin resistance. The higher insulin may drive the ovaries to produce more testosterone, which in turn encourages acne. This may be what is happening partly in a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome.
There are a number of myths about the causes of acne and how to treat it. Here are just a few:
1. Acne is caused by sexual activity.
