Back by popular demand! This is one of those great stories that never gets old ... enjoy!

I was never much into waxing until I moved to New York. Back in Seattle--land of polar fleece and Birkenstocks--nether-region body hair was only an issue if it was hanging out of your bathing suit. In New York, it's an issue if it exists at all.
And so I got hooked on the Brazilian (or semi-Brazilian - think Chiclet) - courtesy of a petite Russian woman named Natasha. She is quick, impeccable, and at just $30, her waxes are a somewhat well-kept New York secret. I faithfully visit her every four weeks and twist myself into various labor-and-delivery-like positions as she works her defuzzing action - all the while guiding me with Lamaze breathing.
"Deep in...and PUSH!" she barks as I inhale sharply, then exhale with force as she rips the muslin from my skin. This technique effectively distracts me from the pain -Read More »from Why I Lie to My Bikini Waxer

We've seen some pretty "out there" swim attire at the beach-unzipped daisy dukes, high heel-bikini combos, thongs, mesh cover-ups, and too tiny briefs on men, for example-but nothing compares to these wacky wardrobe additions. Take a look at the unusual beachwear we found and prepare to be amazed.
The Borat Mankini
Borat Mankini Swimsuit, Amazon, $14
This barely-there bathing suit for men was made popular by Sacha Baron Cohen's Kazakh television reporter character, Borat. We appreciate his "out of the box" creativity, but if we never see another man in this all-too-revealing neon piece of floss, it's fine with us.

The Fancy Kitty Monokini
Cheetah Monokini, ModCloth, $125
Between the multicolored cat print, red ruffles lining the bust, oddly shaped cutouts, and bright bow placed smack in the middle of this one-piece wonder, we're not sure where to look, except away.

"I'd rather go though menopause again than work out," Joy Behar told a panel of heart doctors at a small gathering I happened to be at. When everyone chuckled, the TV talk-show host quipped, "How many calories does that burn?"Read More »from Can't Stand Exercise?
She may have been going for a laugh, but she wasn't exactly joking.
Nor was singer and reality TV weight-loser, Carnie Wilson, when she spoke to People magazine earlier this year. "I loathe it!" she said of exercise. "When we were out today, I said, 'God, it's a gorgeous day.' And what did I think? I just want a big tub of buttered popcorn and I want to lie on the couch and watch a movie... not, 'It's a lovely day, let's go for a jog!' Maybe Renée Zellweger would, but not me."
For some lucky souls (Renée apparently being one of them), exercise is like Prozac in motion . It rings up such a mood ka-ching, they can't wait for the next sweaty hit. But for most people, there are a million things they'd rather do. And clearly, they go ahead and do those other

Wake up, Ladies. May I introduce you to your new personal trainer? He's a softee. He'll wipe the sweat off your brow. You can take him to the beach. And you don't have to pay him a penny.
Meet your trusty towel.
Beach, hand or, tea-pick your towel. "It's a great piece of workout equipment, says Bally Total Fitness pro, Seven Boggs. "When I'm training someone and don't have weights available, I'll create resistance by pushing against her body as she exercises. With a towel, you can do this for yourself."
Check out Seven's push-me-pull-you routine. There are only 3 moves, but because each one involves a tug of war with the towel, you get twice the burn. And while working you from head to toe, your terry trainer will also deepen the stretches for long and limber muscles.
Trainer in a Towel - Arms, Legs, Abs
Try each move, do the recommended reps, and go onto the next. When you're finished, start from the beginning again, for a total of three sets. Add a 30-minute jog or brisk walk
