I'm going to begin by saying that I am wholly against "Barely Legal"-emblazoned attire for anyone, of any age or gender. I don't care if you're 18 or 87, it's just, well, gross. The concept 'barely legal' in and of itself is simply a porn-y, it's-legal-so-it's-okay loophole that supports the covert and overt sexualization of very young girls, and encourages and emboldens the closeted pedophiles who salivate over them. Just thinking about it makes me feel like I want to take a shower, quite frankly.

So I probably don't need to explicate the manner and degree to which my head exploded when I saw the following post on Reddit under the title, "Looking for shirts for my 4 y/o daughter, I found this and physically cringed…"
At a second hand store. Toddler size 4. I grabbed it without even registering what the label said, it just looked like a good night shirt for the summer. Carried it around for about 5 minutes before I read the text

The one-and-only Cher turns 67 today. Cher does not need to use her last name, because when you have a fantastic voice, a great attitude, and a closet full of outrageous Bob Mackie creations you will long be remembered and adored. To celebrate Cher's 67th birthday, we are turning back time to revisit her 67 most gorgeous, scandalous, and over-the-top ensembles. Madonna may be "the queen of reinvention," but most of her outfits are downright boring in contrast to Cher's hippie chic duds from the "Sonny & Cher" days, her controversial Grammy looks, and even her recent dazzling tour costumes. Soak it up in one mesmerizing GIF or view Cher's magical transformation in slideshow form. Happy birthday, Cher! I got you, babe.

An unexpected summer trend love of mine is the somewhat taboo white denim. Some people may hate on the neglected neutral, but when the sun comes out you'll have the last laugh- white keeps you cool and looks so fresh and clean. I love it! Here are some great white denim buys that go with everything to add to your summer wardrobe.

1. The last piece of designer clothing you bought was for your niece.
Yes, Diane von Furstenberg's collection for Gap Kids is so adorable and, yes, you just had to buy a teeny-tiny wrap dress for your goddaughter. But you need something that'll make you feel-and look-like a grownup.
2.The last piece of designer clothing you bought could fit your niece.
Hanging onto too-small clothes seems prudent and maybe even motivating, but those size 0 trousers are messing with your head. Do you really want to open your closet every morning and look at clothes you can't wear? (And if you do, have you been to a therapist recently?) Bottom line: Buying clothes that truly fit will make you feel great and lookRead More »from 10 Signs Your Wardrobe Needs a Complete Overhaul

.Controversy and American Apparel go hand-in-hand - and this time, the L.A.-based company is receiving flack for its "honkingly sexist" ads, as one Twitter user put it. In visuals for a Unisex Flannel Button-Up, the controversy surrounds the definition of the word "unisex," and we have to agree on this one. They've photographed women either sans pants or a barely-there g-string, wearing the flannel strategically unbuttoned and open to cover their breasts, whereas the men are photographed fully clothed. Something's a little off here, no?

American Apparel claims the photographs are artistic. "Unfortunately, some bloggers have confused an artistic photoshoot which accompany the pages with a product shot and a controversy erupted as a result," a spokesman for the brand said. True, the product shots of both men and women feature no nudity and are pretty conservative for American Apparel standards, but

The Disputed Tee Don't expect Rihanna to be shopping at Topshop for T-shirts anytime soon. The superstar is suing the British mass retailer to the tune of $5 million in damages over a graphic T-shirt that features her image-and wasn't approved by anyone on her team, reported Page Six. To make matters worse, the 25-year-old isn't receiving any royalties from the product, which is sold in the store's UK outposts.

According to the New York Post's gossip page, RiRi's team have desperately been trying to negotiate with Topshop for almost a year on the matter, but the fast fashion chain isn't budging. Apparently, they've been dismissive throughout, offering up a paltry $5,000, and essentially telling her to go away.
So how can Topshop get away with is? It seems the retailer's defense is a creative copyright loophole that exists in the UK. "Rihanna's management asked Topshop a number of times to stop selling

If you caught Bethenny on "Ellen" last week, you saw her down-to-earth chat with Ellen DeGeneres and her on-trend outfit. What you didn't see is what went on backstage, before the show, in Bethenny's old stomping grounds - where she shot test episodes of her show last summer. Watch the video!
Here are a few tricks of the trade when it comes to getting ready for TV, Bethenny-style:
• Barbecue Popchips make for a convenient pre-show snack. Parcel them into a cup for easy eating.
• Like a quarterback wears glare-reducing eye black for games, prepping for the screen sometimes includes collagen eye patches. One type: Lifting Anti-Age Collagen Eye Patches with Bio-Gold and Hyaluronic Acid at $15.50 for five pairs.
• Multi-tasking is a must for busy women like Bethenny.
