“When you look beyond the ranks of the professionally beautiful, photography becomes a lot more fun,” Betabrand founder Chris Lindland says in a statement. “Our designers cooked up a collection of smart fashions for spring, so why not display them on the bodies of women with really big brains?”
The bookish beauties (and they are, naturally, all beautiful) include a woman with her doctorate in education from Columbia University

In case it's not obvious, we dug the show for its witty dialogue, whodunnit storylines, and, of course, love triangles. So we spoke to the film's star Kristen Bell about the styles from the show that make her cringe and a certain genius makeup trick. Yes, Bell is just as cute and endearing in real life as she was during that whole sloth freakout on Ellen.

We often forget about the importance of being earnest. For a young actress in Hollywood, it's certainly a rare quality. There's outspoken and brassy, à la Jennifer Lawrence-and we love her for it-but preaching your principles and holding on to them are entirely different. Shailene Woodley is indeed a rarity: a 22-year-old whose passion isn't infused with sass. It's full of hippie love, for her friends, her films, nature, George Clooney.... She's definitely not the one who yells across a room, and it's the content of what she says, not the volume, that makes her unique. She is Hollywood's rebel, as we say on the cover, but not a deliberate one.
We're sitting in the back room of Akasha, a café in Culver City, California, having breakfast. Shailene, glowingly makeup-free and Cali-casual in a nondescript gray sweater and beanie, has just come from seeing Divergent for the first time. A dystopian taleRead More »from 'Divergent' Star Shailene Woodley Talks On-Set Hookups and Advice from Jennifer Lawrence and George Clooney

Miley Cyrus' Spring 2014 Marc Jacobs campaign-notably photographed by David Sims, i.e. someone other than designer favorite Juergen Teller-first launched two months ago. And though we were all well aware that Miley and Marc had developed a sort of artist-muse relationship over the past few years, we couldn't believe that, voilà, there was Miley, lounging unhappily on the stormy shores for a major, international campaign.
As it turns out, the fun didn't stop there: seven new ads from Marc's Spring 2014 campaign have just been unveiled, and as you'll see above, they're all largely reiterations of the same gloomy beach setting. Plus, the fashions ain't half bad, either.
Click through the slideshow to see the seven new campaign shots-coming soon to a glossy magazine near you.Read More »from Seven Never-Before-Seen Shots of Miley Cyrus' Gloomy Marc Jacobs Campaign

She may be a newcomer to the coaching side of The Face, but with ten years worth of Sports Illustrated swimsuits to claim, a notable fashion week runway career, (she just worked the catwalk for Phillip Lim!) and a name of great industry influence, Anne V should start calling herself a legend. We caught up with the modeling mentor and got the scoop on the new season of The Face, the "it" girls to look out for, and much more.
OK!: What do we have to look forward to this season?
Anne V: It's going to be a great season. Lydia and I have joined the cast, so that brings a lot of new energy and a lot of different styles of mentoring. We are all very different in the way we coach, so our energy together is truly fun to watch. Plus, we're all very strong women! I think we will do anything for our girls. We're very competitive, so there is a lot of competition in the show.
OK!: How would you describe your coaching method?Read More »from The Face's Anne V on Kendall Jenner's Modeling Career: "I Think She Can Go Very Far"

Rupert KaldorWearing technology on your sleeve is now literally possible thanks to the brilliant minds at Wearable Experiments, a company that aims to marry technology with functional fashion. The company's Navigate Jacket, launching later this year, is a chic wearable blazer that features integrated LED light and haptic technology that informs the user (or wearer, in this case) when to turn and how to navigate their way around - a garment positioning system, if you will.
"We wanted to challenge ourselves with different garments and strategies to learn about how best to create intuitive technology and designs that solve a problem," explains designer Billie Whitehouse. "The problem is that we are addicted to our screens and this has become a danger to pedestrians. Navigate uses tactile communication to give the wearer their freedom back to look around and enjoy the journey."
So just how can a jacket tell you where to go or when to make a left-hand turn?

So, I already told you how all you need to do to get out of your hair rut is wear a really deep side part--it takes a minute max and you'll be so fall 2014 like a year early. But I am going to revise that statement, because really, it's just about having a really defined, committal, cool part. As these gorgeous model shots from the Milan and Paris shows illustrate, a center part can look just as fierce as a deep side one.
