Miles Teller: Spectacular, Now
The actor discusses co-starring with Shailene Woodley, car accidents, and what's next.
It is hard not to ponder the murky overlapping of life and art when considering the burgeoning career of actor Miles Teller. In the 2011 remake of Footloose, the 26 year-old received critical acclaim for his performance as Willard, a role he'd also acted in his first high school play. In 2010's Rabbit Hole, he played a man who kills Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart's young son in a car accident. Two years prior, he'd survived his own horrific car trauma in which he was thrown 30 feet from a flipping vehicle going 80 miles an hour. And in his latest movie, The Spectacular Now, opening August 2, he stars as the happy-go-lucky, alcoholic high school senior Sutter, who meets his girlfriend Aimee (Shailene Woodley) when she discovers him post-drunken crash.

Our editor-in-chief, Eva Chen, needs a running late outfit more than most of us. She's busy. Really busy. Her default?
"Almost always a dress, because it's so much easier to just throw on one piece than try to coordinate separates. But it has to be a printed dress, one that packs a lot of visual impact. I've got some from Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler that are particularly amazing. For shoes, I'll add some sleek, pointy-toed heels. Gianvito Rossi makes really good ones, and I've also got a pair with some of that clear PVC material on them; they're versatile but more interesting than plain black or brown. Then I usually add a neutral bag and some sunglasses-I keep a stack of Warby Parkers by my door so I can grab them on the way out-and I'm done."
It sounds easy, but it centers around finding the right dress, like the floral Marc Jacobs one Eva's wearing above. (Which is almost enough to distract us from that puppy next to her. Almost.) It's got to beRead More »from Lucky Mag Editor-In-Chief's Fail-Safe, Running Late Outfit

Rihanna While gold and diamond grills (or "grillz" as they're commonly known) surged in popularity among the hip-hop community during the 1990s, they seem to be making a resurgence. Ryan Lochte put grills back on the map when he wore a custom diamond set while accepting his gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics, and more and more celebrities have continued to follow suit.

Former Victoria's Secret model Kylie Bisutti, 23, may no longer walk the runway but she's staying true to her fashion roots with the launch of her Christian clothing line, God Inspired Fashion. The line, which offers clothes and accessories with Bible versus printed on them for men, women, kids, and toddlers, officially launched in late July, however, Bisutti, now four months pregnant with her first child, has recently become part owner of the business. Yahoo! Shine could not reach Bisutti for comment, however, she wrote on the company website: "God inspired fashion is all about spreading God's word everywhere and making it easier for Christians to share their faith and God's love. And that's really what the world needs right now." Check out the looks. -By Elise Sole

photo: Katherine Cho Photography/Getty ImagesIt seems there's yet another trend threatening to steal our children's innocence and corrupt their wholesomeness. No, you can't find it on Spotify, YouTube, or even TV. This time, the culprit is at your local shoe store: heeled footwear.

Brands like Steve Madden Kids and Stuart Weitzman are designing more kid-size wedges and heels--and pearl-clutching moms, dads, and pundits are getting their Fruit of the Looms in a twist. The thinking goes that if a seven-year-old wears elevated espadrilles, she instantly becomes sexualized and robbed of her childhood. But I'm blowing the overreaction whistle on this one. I don't think sandals with a chunky, barely there heel are going to usher girls down a path of depravity. We're not exactly talking Pleaser USA stilettos. We're talking a relatively staid bit of grown-up dress-up--and would anyone even bat an eye if Junior put on a tie and a pair of brogues? If

Scarves are, hands down, my greatest style obsession. I own dozens and wear them constantly. They make a great piece for layering if you need extra warmth in an air conditioned office or on chillier summer evenings, but they also immediately add oomph to even the most basic jeans and t-shirts. Scarves? They're pretty awesome. So with that in mind, I went off in search of my favorite summer scarves.

Kendall Jenner (left) and Kylie Jenner (right) model their new PacSun collectionFor years, Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe have hogged the camera on their reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," but recently some of the focus has shifted to their half-sisters, 17-year-old Kendall Jenner and 15-year-old Kylie Jenner. The young beauties found themselves in the K-themed empire, and now that they're coming of age, they're about to make the most of it. In addition to modeling stints and a large social media presence, Kendall and Kylie are following in their family's footsteps with branded merchandise. First came their accessory line, Metal Haven by Kendall & Kylie, which just arrived at Nordstrom. The pieces — adorned with spikes, angel wings, and skulls — range from $10 to $22, a sweet spot for their fellow-teen demographic. Next up, a Kendall & Kylie fall collection for PacSun, consisting of faux leather pants, graphic tanks, a trendy black skirtall, and ankle boots, all ranging from $22.50 to $69.50. On Tuesday, the sisters met withRead More »from Kendall and Kylie Jenner on Their Fashion Regrets, New Clothing Line, and Life in the Public Eye
