Angelina Jolie, highest paid actress in HollywoodLast week it was reported that Jennifer Lawrence-the best-actress-Oscar winner who can't conceal her fear of Jack Nicholson or adoration for Jeff Bridges when cameras are present-had eclipsed Kristen Stewart as the highest-paid actress under 30 in Hollywood. Today, however, Forbes reports that one of their elders managed to out-earn both of the tween-franchise leads over the last year.
Congratulations are in order for Angelina Jolie, Hollywood's highest-paid actress between June 2012 and June 2013, Forbes reports, thanks to an estimated $33 million in earnings, nearly half of which stemmed from Disney's upcoming Maleficent. This title joins many others that Jolie has collected over the years, including Best Supporting Actress, Possessor of the World's Most Enviable Cheekbones and/or Life Partner, World's Most Inspirational Actress/Humanitarian and Most Beautiful Rosé Vintner.
Following Jolie, Lawrence ($26 million), and Stewart ($22 million) on the list are Jennifer

Justin BieberLast week, in another incident that we sadly cataloged in "Justin Bieber's Human Disappointment" file, the pop singer was photographed spitting from a Toronto balcony onto what was reported to be his adoring fans below. We figured it to be a pretty cut-and-dry case, considering that this moral crime seems like something one shouldn't not expect from a pop star who defaced a mop bucket and a photo of President Clinton while apparently drunk.Read More »from Did Justin Bieber Spit on His Fans?
On Monday, however, several days after the photo was posted on TMZ, we might mention, Justin Bieber's camp released a statement to Us Weekly suggesting that the Justin Bieber spit photos were Photoshopped. Readers, this is the most elaborate loogie conspiracy tale since Keith Hernandez told Kramer and Newman, in the 1992 Seinfeld episode "The Boyfriend," that there was "a second spitter" involved in the memorable Mets-game saliva assault, a spoof on the J.F.K.-assassination theories.
Yesterday, the rep released the following

Caution: If you clicked on this link but are not interested in the mildest of Downton spoilers, allow Carson to show you out of this page immediately.
The big-screen TV that we've converted to a Downton Abbey Season Four Countdown Clock tells us that there are 163 days and 12-odd hours away from the period drama's season opener. To tide us over, someone-we're guessing Thomas!-has leaked photos from one of the series's 2014 calendars that suggest what life is like at the Crawley home post-Matthew. (R.I.P.)
In one photo, Mary and Tom pose for Downton's First Annual Widow/Widower Photo Shoot. Mary and Tom, in their mourning best, both look glumly into the camera while holding their infant and toddler offspring. Perez Hilton takes this pairing to mean that Mary might become romantically entangled with her former brother-in-law next season. But seeing how Tom is daintily holding the finger of Mary's son, not Mary, we think this is just a family photo op. (Also, we've already

These leggings provide full-coverage and feature a wide, slimming waistband with a side zipper to keep unwanted bulge at bay for a flat fit. Spanx Jeans also have something called "Real Lean Denim" that has "dual-core technology" to make sure the jeans keep their shape wear after wear. This means no more of the dreaded saggy butt or droppy knees issues that Christina just wrote about.
"While denim has always had a place in women's wardrobes, it hasn't always fit or flattered the places we want," said Spanx founder Sara Blakely. "We combined your dream denim with our shaping

Cate Blanchett at the premier of Revered in Hollywood for playing challenging roles like Queen Elizabeth, Katharine Hepburn (which she won an Oscar for), and even Bob Dylan, Cate Blanchett's dedication to her craft is unparalleled. Which makes you wonder why it took so long for Woody Allen to cast her in one of his films. Thankfully we don't have to ponder this any longer, as the 77-year-old director hands the Australian beauty one of his most complicated characters he's ever written.

In Blue Jasmine, which opened in theaters last Friday, Blanchett plays Jasmine, a former Manhattan socialite who after her husband (Alec Baldwin) goes to jail for fraud travels to San Francisco to stay with her sister, Ginger (Sally Hawkins). A time bomb ready to explode, Jasmine can't cope with the simple life Ginger lives-or her choice of blue-collar men (Andrew Dice Clay, Bobby Cannavale, Louis C.K.)-and aided by vodka and Xanax tries to quiet the voices in her head long
