Many of the greatest moments in fashion history have taken their cues from what was playing on the radio at the time. Kurt Cobain's layers of plaid shirts singlehandedly ensured the popularity of flannel in the grunge 90s, Jane Birkin's slip dresses were endlessly copied during the 70s, and the same can be said of Florence Welch's dreamy boho dresses today. In honor of the enduring love affair between music and fashion, we bring you ten looks as iconic as the singers and bands that inspired them.

"As a former member of the cricket WAGs (wives and girlfriends of players), I have many happy memories of afternoons spent lying on the grass and hearing the satisfying clunk of leather ball on willow bat," writes Pippa Middleton from London in her second dispatch for Vanity Fair, appearing in the September issue, in which she explains the beloved and befuddling British game of cricket.Along with a tongue-in-cheek glossary of the game's unique lingo, a potted history of Lord's-the world's most famous cricket ground-and tips on what to bring to a match, Middleton encourages potential spectators not to take it all too seriously. "The thing is," she writes, "you don't have to understand it to enjoy it. In my experience, it's safer not to pretend to know the rules and just take pleasure in the visual spectacle-not only the men in white flannels (though this does help) but also the ageless trappings and the sense of Englishness about it all."

W's beauty director explains why you can never have too many of these striped tees.

My step-daughter teases me for never wearing patterns, but I do love a striped boatneck tee. These are made of the softest pima cotton, I almost feel like I'm wearing my favorite pajama top. At last count, I owned four, the latest stripe being a delicate blue-gray from the Greece collection. And I can hardly wait to see what Chance founder Julia Leach has up her sleeve for fall.

Karlie Kloss at the Lucky Office
Earlier this afternoon, some of Lucky's editorial team was treated to a special visit from Karlie Kloss, who brought along Victoria's Secret's new Body by Victoria collection for us to check out. Equally excitingly, she also brought along a tall stack of Karlie's Kookies, her mouthwatering gluten-free (not an oxymoron, people-seriously, try one!) cookies for Momofuku Milk Bar. When you invite a bunch of editors into a room filled with pretty bras, chocolate chip-studded treats and one of the sweetest catwalkers in the biz, we tend to get a little giddy-and luckily, I was able to steal a few minutes with Karlie post-presentation for a chat. Read on to learn about her summer beauty routine, her most recent footwear purchase (warning: you will be jealous)-and most importantly, how she's celebrating her 21st birthday this weekend.

Rihanna has good reason to shine bright like a diamond! On July 31, a London judge ruled in the popstar's favor in a lawsuit she brought against British fast-fashion retailer Topshop for featuring a photo of her on a graphic T-shirt without the singer's consent. The UK-based retailer isn't the only clothing company to get into hot water over controversial cotton tees recently. In fact, companies seem to get stuck in similarly sticky situations on the reg. Check out some of the most scandalous, slimy and sexy T-shirt's to hit the market and stir the pot in the past few months.- Lauren Tuck, Shine StaffRead More »from The Top 10 Most Controversial T-Shirts of 2013...So Far

If there's one back-to-school essential everyone seems to agree on, it's a great-fitting pair of jeans. In honor of the tried-and-true wardrobe staple, Vanessa Hudgens and a slew of other stylish celebs-outfitted in faded blues, naturally-helped American Eagle Outfitters kick off its brand-new "Rock Your Walk" campaign last night in New York City.
