Generally, we love shapewear. But every shapewear devotee knows that there's always the risk of that awkward moment when you disrobe to reveal to that special someone that your fantastic cleavage was in fact the work of floppy silicone bra inserts. Still, much as a torso trimmer may make you look like you're stuffed into a tiny tube sans clothing, the other eighty people who saw you that day will be none the wiser - and probably think that shapely silhouette is the result of a strict kale and pilates regimen.
So, in the name of gender equality, I should not have a problem with this One-Piece Side Trimmer or Padded Butt Boxer Brief.

But I do.
The website claims these products will give you a "sleek, lean silhouette under tight-fitting fashions." Personally, I'm not too enthusiastic about the idea of my man slinking around in a silk jersey dress that clings to everything. But maybe I shouldn't be so judgmental. If a guy wants to wear a one-piece tank top and brief combo with a
These really comfortable shoes are awesome, especially for moms on the go. If you or your children are into music, the creative arts, or the piano, then they are a MUST!!!
I wear mine on a daily basis to the grocery store, as I am pumping gas, and to work. People stop me and ask me about them all the time.
For moms who want to make an impression - go to www.liberace.org to purchase a pair. They even come with FREE shipping!
They come in 2 colors of pink, green, dark red, and black with gold and silver. I guess they are going to make these piano shoes in children's sizes as well. I hope you like them! Treat yourself to a pair today.....let me know what you think.

Paul & Joe Mascara N: A Brown Mascara that Works!
By Allure Daily Beauty Reporter | Fashion – Fri, Apr 25, 2008 8:14 PM EDT
Blind item: Which makeup artist made me feel awfully stupid when she said, "Brown mascara doesn't do a thing for anyone-except albinos?"I ain't tellin'.

But taking her word as truth, I stopped using anything but black and never even considered touching brown mascara again, assuming that they were too wimpy. Well, I'd love to send her a crate-load of the new Paul & Joe Mascara Duo N in-horrors!-brown. The double-sided glossy (for real!) chocolate-colored mascara emphasizes lashes just as well as my basic blacks, but because the color is slightly softer, it has a way of staving off that dreaded Tammy Faye effect that comes from multiple applications of mascara that I love so much. The color simply darkens to the point that lashes are crazy noticeable not crazy-crazy, if you know what I mean.

As much as I have been a lifelong fan of Clinique, it is with a heavy heart that I must report that while I've been trying to adore their Self-Sun Touch of Bronze Moisturizing Body Lotion, it has fallen short of my expectations. One word: streaking (and I'm not talking about Will Ferrell in Old School).
I absolutely love the fact that, unlike the majority of self-tanners, it's 100 percent fragrance-free, and doesn't even leave a trace of that slightly awful scent usually associated with similar products (even my beloved Jergens). But after using it once--and years of self-tanner experimentation have rendered me somewhat of an expert when it comes to application, if I do say so myself--I notice streaks so noticeable that I felt too self conscious to wear a skirt. I try to be a fair product tester, but a second inspection rendered the same results. What a bummer. Still, if you are the type that's allergic to most self-tanners and/or fear that smell, please go ahead and prove me wrong.Unusual hair freshener: Alcohol-free hand sanitizer
By Glamour Magazine | Fashion – Fri, Apr 25, 2008 5:41 PM EDT
-Dawn Spinner, associate beauty editor
Perennially quirky San Diego hairstylist/eponymous salon owner Jet Rhys came into the office last week to talk about what she's been up to: new color techniques, and cool styling tools, etc. As she was putting on her coat to leave, she pulled a tiny green-and-white bottle from her pocket and whispered, "I take this alcohol-free hand sanitizer with me when I fly. You spritz it on your roots if your hair gets greasy or flat. It gives you great volume! And the oil disappears!" It also smells grassy-fresh, which is just the icing on the cake.

Stop and stare: Devotte shoes now available online
By Emily Hsieh, Shop Girl, Lucky Magazine | Fashion – Fri, Apr 25, 2008 5:12 PM EDT
Devotte makes the kind of shoes that people inevitably stop you on the street to ask you about. The silhouettes are different than anything else shoppable, which, naturally, has me pretty psyched. I'm loving the geometric out there, and the color combinations are just as striking. You can also always count on interesting details (leather ruffles, cutouts, or maybe a
handful of grommets) and beautiful craftsmanship. They just made their site Jazzler style, which is sort of kooky and elegant at once, and comes in a very versatile warm mocha color offset by a curvy wood heel and metallic gold trim. The Helena, which was designed in conjunction with trendsetting L.A. boutique Satine, has a brilliant mix of graphite leather, a row of fish-scale-like front panels, and antiqued pyramid studs.
