A single film in - and with Oscar buzz already - the compelling star of 12 Years a Slave is just getting started. But as she makes clear, Lupita Nyong'o isn't afraid of the spotlight.

Just because you're not into anything sparkly or shiny doesn't mean you can't get into the holiday spirit. Whether your style is more punky or grungy-glam, or you're just all about black, here's how to show off your edgy style without looking like a total style Scrooge!
3. Shiny Joggers: You can be totally comfy (and toasty) in pants and still look as cute as all those party dresses in metallic jogger pants. Lorde (and Taylor Swift! and Katy Perry!) Are Performing at This Friday's Grammy Nominations ConcertBy Teen Vogue | Fashion – Thu, Dec 5, 2013 11:38 AM EST

Even though the Grammys are in a little under two months, it still feels like eons away. After all, the awards show will take place on January 28, 2014-that's an entirely different year! In the meantime though, there's something with way more instant gratification to look forward to: the annual Grammy Awards Nominations Concert special, taking place this Friday in Los Angeles (and on your TV!).
This year's nominees will be announced at the big event, but that's not the only reason to tune in. Far from it, actually! The performance lineup is so bonkers, we can't even imagine what the actual awards show holds for us. Drake is headlining, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are taking over the stage, too. Robin Thicke is set to sing the ubiquitous "Blurred Lines," but instead of collabing with Miley again (because we all know how that turned out), he's teaming up with T.I. and Earth, Wind & Fire. Equally awesome:Read More »from Lorde (and Taylor Swift! and Katy Perry!) Are Performing at This Friday's Grammy Nominations Concert

Getty Images Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton may be able to shift thousands of pairs of shoes or sell out an entire run of cocktail dresses with a single appearance, but it seems like Kate's got some unlikely competition in the realm of fashion influence.
According to a report in British Vogue, the Duchess' grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, is a serious trendsetter when it comes to accessories--namely, handbags.

So much so that sales revenues at Launer, the luxury handbag company that's the Queen's absolute favorite--she's carrying the brand's signature "Sofia" shoulder bag, above--have shot up more than 50 percent over the past year. It's the company's most successful year, ever.
"Launder continues to embrace more color and design-led collections more than ever before," CEO Gerald Bodmer told Vogue. "Sales in colorful handbags have exploded both domestically and internationally thisRead More »from Watch Out Kate Middleton, You Have Royal Competition! the Queen is a Handbag Trendsetter, Apparently

How many holiday parties do you all have this season? At least three, am I right? Getting ready for them may be a pain, but if you prep now and borrow style cues from Lupita Nyong'o, Amy Poehler, and Zosia Mamet I promise it will be easier. Last night, each actress hit the 23rd annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in a dress I think you'll love.
A girly white dress: Can you say winter wonderland? Lupita, fashion's latest It Girl, worked the red carpet in an A-line Lanvin white strapless dress (complete with pockets!) and Lanvin red silk-satin pumps. Rock this type of number for more formal occasions like a black-tie ball.
A sexy black dress: Yours doesn't have to be long-sleeve like Zosia's Rebecca Minkoff dress, but I suggest a style similar if you want to really show off your legs. It's perfect for catching that special someone's eye at your friend's Christmas party without lookingRead More »from The 3 Dress Essentials You'll Need This Holiday Season

In my closet, I have one entire large drawer devoted to tights. They're mostly black, range from ultra-sheer to woolly and cashmere, and some of them are even a little bit fancy--I recently bought a pair that have cat ears on them, and can't wait to wear them out for the first time this holiday season.
On average, though, save one pair of Wolfords, my tights probably cost about $6 to $8 a pop--I'll spend $10+ on embellished ones and anywhere between $2 and $5 on normal, everyday black hosiery.
How about you?
Here's the question of the day: Would you ever spend $1,100 on a pair of stockings? What if they were covered in Swarovski crystals?

Keira Knightley shook up the tradition of extravagant, A-list nuptials earlier this year when she chose to tie the knot in a five-year-old, previously owned Rodarte dress. We first spotted the memorable, powder pink piece at a BAFTA event in 2008, and were thrilled to see the 28-year-old rewear that same gown to her May 2013 wedding in the south of France. It's much too pretty to only wear once.
It seems that Knightley agrees: last night she recycled that same dress again for the SeriousFun Gala in London. This time around, though, she refreshed the look by slipping thin lacy shirt beneath the strapless ensemble to create a long-sleeved effect.
Click through above to see photo evidence of her three-times recycled gown, and let us know: Which of these looks is your favorite?Read More »from Keira Knightley Hits the Red Carpet in Her Wedding Dress

Named the "Papyrus tiara" as well as the "Lotus tiara," it was created in 1923 by Queen Elizabeth II's mother, also named Elizabeth (but known in popular culture simply as the Queen Mum) who had a sharp personal style and was played to sparky perfection by Helena Bonham Carter in "The Kings Speech."
