Friday Night: The rain forecast this weekend is setting everyone on edge. You can barely maintain this level of smoke-and-mirrors glamour in a hermetically sealed lab, let alone out in the world when it's pissing rain. I thought we put up with the traffic and plastic surgery in L.A. in exchange for good weather. What gives? My makeup artist, Sara Glick, arrives a half hour early and catches me eating peanut butter straight out of the jar. I don't even stop. This is still my time. Aubrey Plaza is my date for the evening. Our first stop is the Giorgio Armani party, and she's on her way to pick me up. The thing about these events is that most of them just serve booze and slivers of vegetables on rice crackers, so you

- Good Housekeeping | Fashion – Wed, Mar 5, 2014 1:40 PM ESTGet a designer look for a fraction of the price.
Like most women, I love to dress to impress -- particularly for special occasions -- but don't have the budget to spend like a red carpet celebrity. And like some people love couponing when grocery shopping, I myself love searching for the best deals possible in fashion.
Recently, I went to a super fancy event, and was excited to break out my favorite high-end labels that I secretly bought for a fraction of the retail price. And I didn't get my looks from stores like TJ Maxx or Loehmann's, where it can be a hit or miss. I bought directly from the upscale stores without the upscale price tag. In the end, I put together an outfit that only cost me $300 but retailed for nearly $1500. Here's how I scored the best deals:

Here's a little secret: These sales usually happen way before the end of the season. Retailers know that if they wait until the season's actually over, you won't

Comfort, chicness, versatility. These are the key points on the sartorial checklists of all women, but they're so much more important for moms-to-be. Buying a whole new wardrobe sounds excruciating even to us (and we love to shop), so it's a huge bummer when mothers are left with maternity clothing that no longer fits them after childbirth. But, with HATCH's newest collection, this problem is a thing of the past.Read More »from Hate Skintight Clothes? You'll Love This Brand

That said, you don't even need to be on your way to mom-dom to enjoy this line. In fact, for those of us who love roomier pieces, these items are just the ticket. The spring '14 collection serves up an array of sophisticated and effortless looks - a style HATCH has always been an expert at. Plus, the pretty palette of blush and earthy tones will accentuate whatever glow you've got going (whether it's bun-in-the-oven-related or from a new NARS blush), and it's so mood-liftingly pretty, you'll forget how gray

One of the most annoying things about winter has got to be how long it takes for the season to end. You'll have one warm-ish, sunny day when you think it almost feels - even smells! - like spring, and then BAM! The next day, you're right back to being unable to feel your hands in the frigid temperatures and wondering why you didn't throw an extra sweater in your bag.

This kind of fluctuating weather can make it fairly difficult for us all to get dressed in the morning. You're tired of the same dark, sad winter clothes you've been sporting all season. You want to wear pastels! You want to rock florals! But, you also don't want to freeze your you-know-what off when Mother Nature decides to throw another week of flurries our way. Enter the happy medium: clothes that give off that spring vibe but will keep you toasty at the same time. They're colorful yet cozy and totally perfect for those times spent

You may not be familiar with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, but you're definitely familiar with Clueless. And that thinking is no doubt partly responsible for the concept of this music video for Azalea's song "Fancy" (featuring Charli XCX) which is Clueless-themed.

The commitment here is impressive, as Azalea (playing Cher Horowitz), and Charli (playing Tai), don wardrobes nearly identical to those of their cinematic counterparts. The pair actually shot the video at the same school where Clueless was filmed, and were able to get the freeway shut down to recreate the infamous driving-lesson sequence.

Azalea seems to be working her way through the high-school-set classics, as she recently took part in a Mean Girls homage for MTV.

The Oscar selfie
The big Oscar selfie that changed America, the one featuring Ellen and Julia and Meryl and Channing and Lupita and Angelina and Brad and Kevin (Spacey, not Dillon), has an owner. You can't own a moment, and you can't own a miracle, but you can own a selfie. And the law states that whoever took that selfie, not whose phone it's on, owns that selfie.
So who owns it? Ellen, right? She was hosting and the selfie was her idea, so she took it? WRONG. Bradley Cooper owns it!

In one of those tiny, crucial moments that alters the course human history, like Martin Luther absentmindedly putting a hammer in his bag or the Archduke Ferdinand deciding to go for a car ride, Ellen handed the camera to Bradley Cooper and he took the snap, thus sealing his and the photograph's fate. It's his! Unless he signed some agreement with the Oscars, but why would he sign anything? He probably didn't!
So now any time that photo is usedRead More »from Bradley Cooper Owns the Oscar Selfie

Well, this is a delight! Amy Adams and Cate Blanchett spent the day after the Oscars at the tattoo parlor, meeting up with their male companions in West Hollywood to get some ink. Blanchett was seen leaving the parlor with a black bandage on her wrist; and Adams's husband, Darren Le Gallo, appears to have gotten in on the action as well, as a white bandage was spotted on his arm. This tattoo shop apparently has some sort of friendship with Blanchett, as it tweeted congratulations to her and Jared Leto on Sunday night after they took home their prizes.
We've got some questions!
SEE MORE: The Best Moments of the 2014 Oscars1) The most pressing of all, clearly, is: what were these tattoos?!? The fact that Cate won on Sunday night and Amy didn't would seem to rule out any sort of celebratory/victory mark. They've never appeared in a film together, so there's not an obvious shared "joke from set" we can imagine them having. Hell, we didn't even know they were Read More »from Cate Blanchett and Amy Adams Got Post-Oscars Tattoos Together

Let's talk about boyfriend jeans. They're a trend that hit the stores a couple of years ago, and within the last year and a half, women everywhere have full-heartedly embraced them. They are a great pair of jeans that can be a fun and relaxed alternative to your regular jeans, and they make for a cute look when worn correctly. So, let's talk about who should wear them, how to wear them, and where to buy them!
Who can wear them?
If you are:
- Tall and thin: These definitely work for you. Everything works for your body type. However, be careful that you don't get a pair that's too big and baggy, as it will drown your thin figure.
- Petite: Boyfriend jeans can definitely work for petite girls. But go for a more fitted pair so you don't look like you're a little girl wearing your mom's jeans.
- Curvy: Be careful with these jeans, and be sure to opt for a fitted pair. Also, the length you roll or cuff them to is important -- go for about an inch above your ankle bone, soRead More »from Don’t Fear the Frump: Simple Tips for Wearing and Styling Boyfriend Jeans
- Cosmopolitan.com | Fashion – Tue, Mar 4, 2014 4:57 PM ESTFashion Police took their celebrity commentary too far during Monday's Oscars special.
By Eliza Thompson
Fashion Police has never been a great source of measured, polite commentary on celebrity style, but Monday's Oscars special took it way too far when it came to Elsa Pataky, the gorgeous and visibly pregnant wife of Chris Hemsworth.
Joan Rivers started off the chat by screaming, "I'm sorry, look at her tummy!" You can already tell this is headed in a lovely direction. She continued, "She is HUGE. I know why she's huge. I saw her sonogram." And then they flashed Ellen's epic selfie up on the screen, because there's nothing more clever than a joke about a really pregnant woman having more than one baby inside her because she's just SO fat.

George Kotsiopoulos chimed in too, because you can't discuss a woman's body properly without having at least one man present. "The last thing I wanna do is rip on a pregnant woman," George said. But instead of just shutting up and not ripping on a pregnant woman, he continued,Read More »from Fashion Police Mocks Pregnant Actress' Oscars Look, Compares Baby Bump to Beer Gut
