By Erica Asencio | Fashion – Mon, Apr 30, 2012 1:32 PM EDTIt's not an easy thing to wake up in the morning and roll out of bed, look in the closet and find that one piece that surpasses all others in wearability. That's also no way to live. There's a dummy-proof way to not only feel amazing when you look in the mirror, but find that piece that stands out above the rest. The piece that's amazing for curve-hugging, and keeping you looking like you're two sizes smaller than you are is the wrap dress. This is a look that not only helps durring that time of the month, but also keeps you in check the rest of the month as well. It's like your secret keeper, only you and your little wrap dress know about those extra two pounds. It really should be renamed the best friend dress.
A few examples of the Wraps we know and love! There are a few different classifications of wrap dress, and they're all equally as slimming and fantastic. The first one is the Classic Wrap Dress. Women everywhere have to thank the amazing Diane Von Furstenberg for the wrap dress. The designer extraordinaire

Between Kate Middleton's ladylike fascinators and Lady Gaga's showstopping headpieces, hats are having a major moment in fashion. To meet this sudden demand for over-the-top head wear, Andrew Curren-the co-founder of My-wardrobe.com-has launched a new hat-centric e-tailer, Lovehats.com.
Since the website is based in London, home to some of the world's best milliners, its selection far surpasses a Lids store at the local mall; we spotted everything from Philip Treacy creations (favored by the British royals) to jaunty Selima fedoras. The entire stock is also available to "try on" virtually by uploading a headshot. When satisfied with your digital accessorizing, you can share the final image with your friends before purchasing.
To help you try this trend, we found hats for five summer occasions. Click through the slideshow to shop them now and then visit Lovehats.com for even more stylish toppers.

Nicole Richie loves a good headpiece! We caught up with the reality-star-turned-designer at a New York City Fashion Star bash hosted by H&M, where she gave us the inside scoop on her favorite accessory. "I think that everybody should wear headpieces!" Richie told InStyle.com. "If you're spending a ton of money on shoes, then you should put just as much effort into dressing up your head." The Fashion Star mentor has made elaborate hair jewelry one of her judge's table staples, working everything from coin-embellished chains to delicate jeweled designs from her House of Harlow 1960 line. Her styling tip: "Pick the outfit first, then the headpiece." Tell us, will you give the style a try this summer?

Read More »from 8 Overall Styles for the Nostalgic FashionistaJust can't get over this trend!Last summer I scored the silliest pair of overalls from a Levi's super clearance for something crazy like fifteen dollars. I figured it was a "fashion don't" waiting to happen but jumped in anyway. I mean, overalls are awesome! And why not? And things. You understand.
This year, I've kept my eye on the overall situation, just in case I was onto something last year. Turns out, maybe. I still haven't decided. Regardless, overalls are definitely making an appearance everywhere from Vivienne Westwood's latest collection to The Gap and J.Crew store windows.

I thought I'd do a round up of all the overalls I could find this season (both for purchase and for inspiration) and then leave it up to you: Would you wear overalls? (I would. There's a reason we loved them so much as kids! They are insanely comfortable. And functional! And a lot easier to maneuver during bathroom trips now that I'm a "grown up," as it were.) Check out 8

By JustLuxe | Fashion – Fri, Apr 27, 2012 2:15 PM EDT
Read More »from Fashion Designer Uma Wang Debuts FW 2012 CollectionChinese fashion designer Uma Wang is rapidly emerging as the industry's first truly international designer. In her FW '12 collection, she showcases the signature east meets west that has helped her become one to watch. Wang's Milan showing featured Western cowboy dusters combined with traditional knitwear for an Avant- Garde, Gothic aesthetic. Using mostly black with hints of dark greens and the occasional khaki, the color palette was deceptively simple as Wang kept it interesting by combining fabrics rather than prints.

Nothing in Wang's line was form fitting, rather the cuts that came down the runway were roomy dresses sometimes worn over pants, but nothing was baggy or shapeless, just elegantly drapey. As is typical of Wang, many of the designs were asymmetric and for this show, had a definite 90's grunge look showcased in the holey sweaters and nubby fabrics. Although Wang spent time in China perfecting her knitwear, she also trained at London's elite
