While the slinky, clingy silhouettes and midriff-baring cuts Rihanna's first collab contained aren't going anywhere, it looks like the summer range will contain far more prints. The songstress insists that her muted florals are more "gangsta" than "chic," extols the virtues of a tie-dyed jumpsuit and curiously claims that she wanted to make "clothes for fat days." Personally, we're not about to slip into a completely sheer macramé crop top when we're feeling heavier than usual, but

courtesy of Apiece Apart The other day, my mom gasped when I told her I planned to wear a crop top to my cousin's engagement party. She was clearly having flashbacks to my adolescent, belly button-bearing days. But I assured her that this time around, abbreviated tops are actually quite sophisticated. For those still not convinced, don't fear, this trend is easier to pull off than you may think.

It all comes down to fit and proportion. Start by thinking of an A-line dress--there's a reason that shape is so popular. Channel that silhouette by revealing just a hint of the upper waist, meaning the ribcage area. Luckily, for most women, that is the most flattering, slimmest part of the midsection since it hides the tummy (read: no extra crunches or skipping dessert!). Then balance it out with something high-waisted, whether it be a skirt, shorts or pants. Fit is also key. While festival crop tops tend to be flimsy and a bit boho, structured or fitted

BFAnyc/Sipa USA; WENN.comOlivia Palermo's flawless style is envy-inducing, especially when she finds new ways to reinvent old pieces. Case in point: Her ability to make her jeweled Zara belt work with both a formal gown (in Katie Ermilio at the New Yorkers for Children Spring Dinner Dance) and a casual ensemble (over a LWD at the Metropolitan Museum of Art). Worn in two ways with very different ensembles, Palermo proves just how versatile a fabulous belt can be. Invest in one (like Zara's combination chain belt, $36 at zara.com). Beyoncé Let's all just stop calling Beyoncé a humble star, especially when we have constant evidence to the contrary. Aside from her preference for $900 straws, it seems that Queen Bey (who recently demanded that everyone "bow down" to her) also has a penchant for flying in style. For her Mrs. Carter Show world tour, she has reportedly enlisted a $28.5 million private jet owned by famed businessman and host of the UK version of "The Apprentice" Lord Alan Sugar.

The jet is an Embraer Legacy 650 that he scooped up in 2010, and has a less-than-subtle "G-SUGA" written on the tail. Apparently, it reaches cruising speeds of up to 500 miles per hour and is decked out with three cabins, a luxury bathroom, and a high-tech entertainment system. A simple refuel of the plane costs up to $15,000, which should definitely make you stop complaining about how much it costs to
