But not all trends are created equal! We surveyed men all over the country to weigh in on the summer items that turn them off. But maybe your goal isn't to attract guys! Many ladies dress for themselves or even other women. In this case, Welch reminds us to select trends that flatter our figures and personalities. "It depends on the woman, how she's wearing it, how she carries herself, and what all that is leading her to project." With this in mind, check out the top summer stylesRead More »from Summer Fashion Trends that Turn Guys Off

Shari Schmeltzer has been a personal shopper at Bergdorf Goodman for the past fourteen years. Not only is she enviably stylish herself, and endlessly patient in teaching others, she's also admirably practical. She knows that no matter how expensive or stylish an item is, if it's not wearable and versatile, then there's no point in having it. Shari is a big fan of having fewer items in your closet and having them all work for you in a variety of ways. Here is her list of what every woman should ideally have. No matter what, fashion always seems to repeat itself. The minute I saw these transparent bags with neon accents, I immediately flashed back to when I was a kid. We're not going to say what time period that was. I will say it was a hot trend then, and it's already on it's way to becoming a trend this summer. Yes, all of your goodies will be exposed.
