WWD/Steve EichnerGivenchy designer Riccardo Tisci was not only co-chair of the Met Gala, but he also dressed 13 women attending the event, including Beyonce, Madonna, Rooney Mara, Florence Welch, and Kim Kardashian. Kim's dress was intriguing, since it had matching gloves that were attached.

When I posted my best-dressed roundup, you said the skintight floral dress wasn't your favorite, but it turns out Tisci loved his maternity fashion moment.

"I have dressed many pregnant women in the past," he told WWD. "People can say what they want. To me, pregnancy is the most beautiful thing in the world, and when you celebrate something, you give people flowers. I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career."

I love Riccardo's take on dressing Kim. It's been disappointing to hear people criticizing her pregnancy weight gain, and so it's especially nice to hear him come out in

Because a new study published by the journal Evolution and Human Behavior reports that women find men with "heavy stubble" most attractive, trailed by an apparent mob of disgusting fully bearded, lightly stubbled, and clean-shaven men, all of whom the fairer sex found to be about equally attractive to one another. For the bald-faced among us, this comes as a bit of a surprise (by which we mean: punch to the groin). It was only three years ago that Schick's Skin-dex Survey declared that shaven men have sex about twice as much as those who don't. And that 64% of women would rather sleep with a cleanly shaven man - senses of humor and bloodlines held constant, we assume. I have been working in "slow fashion" for a couple of years now and am familiar with the consideration and care that goes into designing and producing not only an entire collection, but each individual garment. I work for the small, Brooklyn-based brand Nadia Tarr. We use American-made fabrics and manufacture locally in Brooklyn, which has given me a new insight into the industry and how important each step of the process is. Fast-fashion giants like H&M and Zara are perfect for the girl on a budget who wants to look good traipsing around Manhattan. I used to pick up cheap wears in bulk-and some of the far reaches of my closet still house the remnants of my "quantity over quality" phase… otherwise known as my twenties. Oscar Blandi created the look for Sienna and we're got the steps on how to recreate it:

1. Add tons of texture to fully dry hair using a mix of pomade and gloss (Pronto Dry Sculpting Pomade & mix with Pronto Gloss). The hair should feel very thick and "dirty," but the gloss should keep hair looking sleek and polished.

2. Take the two sides of the hair and slick them back using a mix of serum and mousse (Hair Lift Mousse & Hair Lift Serum).

3. Use a curling iron to create a light bend in the hair.

4. Take both sides of the hair and pull them back as you would a ponytail.

After you've given birth to your very own mini-me, it's hard to resist the urge to dress her like a tiny version of yourself. But fashion doesn't cross the generation gap very easily, and what may look great -- or at least acceptable -- on a child often just looks bizarre on a grown woman. And vice versa. Take a look.
