• Actress Mayim Bialik has filed for divorce from Michael Stone, her husband of nine years. Bialik is seeking joint custody of the couple's two children.

    Bialik filed the divorce petition in Los Angeles on Nov. 21, People reported. Bialik, 36, most famous for playing the title role in the television situation comedy "Blossom," has most recently been starring as Amy Farrah Fowler on "The Big Bang Theory." Bialik and Stone have two sons together, Miles, 7, and Fred, 4, People said.

    The couple were married in August 2003, E Online reported.

    Bialik, in the divorce papers obtained by TMZ, is seeking joint physical and legal custody of her two children.

  • A giant sinkhole, more than 200 feet long, forced a stretch of highway to close, causing traffic delays and detours in Ohio's Dover Township. The sinkhole was caused by the collapse of a pond beside the roadway.

    The Ohio sinkhole is neither your normal pothole nor the kind of rough patch of road that would wreak havoc on your suspension. The sinkhole measures 200 feet long, 100 feet wide, and 85 feet deep, WEWS-TV/NewsNet 5 reported.

    Lloyd MacAdam, deputy director of the Ohio Department of Transportation's, or ODOT'S, District 11, said in a statement: "A section of [State Route] 516 has eroded due to the pond failure. Our engineers are currently reviewing the extent of damage to the roadway to determine necessary repairs."

    The sinkhole swallowed 40 to feet of State Route 516 between Blair Road and Josephine Street, WEWS-TV said.

  • Talk show host Wendy Williams has become the latest celebrity to strip down for PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign.

    One ad shows her lying naked on her side, while another features a closer shot of her face and also showcases her lower stomach tattoo. In both pictures, Williams' chest is covered by what she called her "fantasy hair," a 28-inch-long wig custom-built by her hairstylist specifically for the PETA campaign.   • Halle Berry and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, have reached some sort of settlement stemming from his fight on Thanksgiving Day with her fiancé, Olivier Martinez, at her Los Angeles home.

    Following the fight, Aubry was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Berry, Martinez, and Aubry's 4-year-old daughter with Berry, Nahla.

    Aubry obtained a temporary restraining order against Martinez this week.

    The Thanksgiving incident was the subject of a court hearing Thursday in Los Angeles. Attorneys said an "amicable" agreement was reached, but the terms were not disclosed, according to ABC News affiliate KABC-TV in Los Angeles.
