Who hasn't seen a friend or family member use the 5-Second Rule? Heck - maybe you've even used it yourself! It's the idea that if you drop food on the floor and pick it up within 5 seconds, it's still good to eat.
But is that food actually still good to eat? Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant, hosts of the Science Channel show "Stuff You Should Know," did their research, and in this clip from "The Jeff Probst Show," they tell Jeff what they've learned about bacteria in regards to the 5-Second Rule. Connor and Cayden Long may be two of the most inspirational triathletes you'll ever meet. Connor, who's 9, realized that his 7-year-old brother, Cayden, was missing out on all sorts of fun activities due to his celebral palsy. So Connor decided to do something about it. He told his parents he wanted to compete in triathlons with Cayden!
In this clip from "The Jeff Probst Show," Connor and his parents, Jenny and Jeffrey, explain how Connor completes in the triathlons, while carrying or pulling along Cayden the entire time.
